Good 360 games to pick up

Burnout Paradise is very much worth getting. Especially with the free motorcycle expansion. Multiplayer is a hell of a lot of fun as well.

Yeah, there's a pack coming out (all these packs are free btw) that has a confirmed flying Delorean, and a list of mysterious names for the remaining cars.

This is called the Jansen 88 Special (88 Mph ), the remaining ones are the Calvary Bootlegger, Manhattan Spirit and the GT Nighthawk

The Manhattan Spirit has the be the Ecto-1

Just bought a 360 within the last few weeks and looking for some good game suggestions. I've been out of the gaming loop for a while. Mostly into action/adventure, huge RPG fan, survival horror and the occassional fighting game. I pretty much suck at FPS so don't care much for them and i despise sports games except for maybe tennis. Any suggestion would be appreciated

Sorry this is a couple weeks late.

For survival horror, Condemned: Criminal Origins. It was a launch title, so it may not hold up graphic wise to what we have now. But it's still fun. Plus, it's dirt cheap.

I just got Burnout Paradise, and while it's an awesome driving game I'm still not very good with the game. For courses where you have to get from point A to B over long distance, they forced you to make detours and it's very VERY hard to do when you are driving at very high speed, and you can't slow down enough to see the intersection. One crash and you go from top 3 to bottom 3, and you have to finish first in order to win the race (no consolation price). It's getting a bit frustrating for me right now.

Btw, I noticed that there are no threads for Burnout games, which surprised me.

Can't go wrong with the Call of Duty series. I haven't been disapointed in a single one of em. 2,3,4 and World at War, all fantastic games.

For courses where you have to get from point A to B over long distance, they forced you to make detours and it's very VERY hard to do when you are driving at very high speed, and you can't slow down enough to see the intersection. One crash and you go from top 3 to bottom 3, and you have to finish first in order to win the race (no consolation price). It's getting a bit frustrating for me right now.

All the Burnout games I've played have been pretty challenging. I'm not particularly good at racing games in general, though, so it might just be me.

Yea I find the Burnout games difficulty curve is strange. I find them all really easy up to a certain point, then all of a sudden, it just becomes insanely hard. There is no steady progression in the difficulty, it just goes from one extreme to the next. Well for me it does anyway.

Question: Has anyone played the Afro Samurai game? I am a big fan of the show but animes tend to not translate well to video games. If anyone has played this could you let me know if it is any good?

Yeah, I feel the same way. I just got Burnout License and now race events feel more like Marked Men events, because all those racers really try to put you out of commission if they get close to you. Kinda frustrating sometimes.

It's not a router, it's a wireless adapter. And, as far as I know, only the official Microsoft one works with the 360.

if you have a laptop, you can connect the xbox to a wireless network by plugging into the laptop. That's what i've got rigged up.

You can use a router. My buddy picked up 2 Linksys routers cheap and basically uses them as a wireless bridge.
