Good 360 games to pick up

Burnout Paradise is very much worth getting. Especially with the free motorcycle expansion. Multiplayer is a hell of a lot of fun as well.
I thought Burnout's Revenge was a better game and I'm not even a racing fan.

Burnout Paradise and Burnout Revenge are pretty similar. Just a different presentation of a lot of the same stuff.

Paradise took away the crash part I thought where you earn money the more destruction you do?

There's a similar thing where you can crash and bounce your car around, earning points based on how many other cars you hit. That is one part that's not as robust in Paradise as it was in Revenge, though. Paradise is more of a straight-up racing game where you can destroy other racers. Not as much emphasis on random property damage.

Yeah that was my favorite part of Revenge hence why I didn't pick up Paradise.

With the recently addition of restart option, and a bunch of free and priced DLC, I think Paradise is a very worthy game to pick up. Although it doesn't have crash mode like Revenge, as a racing game it's fantastic.

I'm not a racing fan so it was those type of eliminations, crashes, type events that hooked me.

I'm not much of a racing fan either, but Burnout: Paradise is more of an arcade-style racing game where your cars aren't doggedly realistic, so it's fun for me.

I'm also a Johnny Come Late when it comes to games. I played BioShock and Mass Effect almost months after they were released

I just got done with Gears of War 2, and I'm on Fable 2 before I jump on GTA IV: DLC and then Fallout 3.

I pretty much recommend each of those games.

I feel those Lego games are bit "relaxing" when I get a little burned out from shooting things up.

I still haven't played BioShock myself. I just bought it for PC with a gift certificate I got for Christmas, though, so... soon.

Same here. I also have Project Gotham Racing 4 (got one off Ebay for less than $10), and its ultra-realism put me off quite a bit after playing Paradise. I know that it's more comparable to Gran Turismo than Burnout, but I got frustrated by it quickly and it wasn't a stress-reliever like Paradise is.

I get headaches after an hour of play on FPS games which is probably why I never got into Doom or Halo. But I trucked through that game because it was addicting.
