Goosebumps

This is so basic to me given what you could do. I feel like nobody really cares about doing anything with this property.

First one was a lot of fun so I’ll be checking this one out too.

I wonder if Horrorland was too expensive an idea? I was actually looking forward to that.

I’m excited for this loved the first one

Looks better than the first which lacked atmosphere. That said, the family horror picture that is actually worth seeing this Fall seems to be the one Jack Black picked over this; House with a Clock In Its Walls.

Yet he's still voicing slappy.

It looks like they reduced the budget for this one.

I was 9 years old when the tv show started. Had all the books, any bit of clothing related to goosebumps, I had. This property was my childhood. What they've done with it makes me sick. All the kids who loved Goosebumps back in the day are in their late 20s to mid 30s now. So why make it so childish and cheap?. What they need to do is take the absolute best books/episodes from that series and make them into movies. Make them dark and scary with some humour sprinkled in. Imagine a movie version of The Haunted Mask made to truly scare the crap out of you. This movie and the last just felt like it was made for 5 year Olds and what they'd find scary. What a waste.

Looks like fun. The concept is pretty much chuck in as many goosebumps characters as possible but that’s all good. I can dig

Would you invest your money in a kids film that’s too scary for kids? That’s why they make it look so childish and cheap

Hence why I made it clear I wouldn't make it for children. You think the last movie made money because of the kids of today?. Kids today could give a **** about Goosebumps. Goosebumps was my generation who are now in their early 30's, so make it for us adults who love the nostalgia but also want something scary as fully grown adults. It's that simple. Kids don't need to be included in this series. They have 40 other kids properties made a year.

Who said it had to be a kids film? Goosebumps fans are millennials let's be real here. Not saying them going this way is wrong but I see a lot of potential in the idea of ageing up Goosebumps stories and targeting the people who actually remember Goosebumps. Try it. Someone take a story from the catalogue that can be made for cheap and do it Horror movies with no brand recognition at all can make good money, so why not?

That sure doesn't sound like Jack Black as Slappy.

They made this on the cheap and slapped it together for a quick buck for Halloween. It looks like a cheaper first movie and a slightly more expensive television movie.

Another brilliant Sony decision.

It's a shame, I wish they followed up on what happened to Stine and the Invisible Boy. I'd like to see the other characters again too.
