I mean, im "normal" (aside from the geekyness) so its not like i have a connection to the "goth" scene. Hell, if given a chance id punch every single emo person right in the face.

I'm getting on a bit in years. I'm 22. So that means that many goths are too young for me and the appeal is disappearing. And the goth girls my age are just... too pathetic for words.

When I was in high school, a lot of the kids that were goth used to think I was one of them. lol

And yeah, I too would lump emo and goth kids into the same group. They're both groups that struggle way too hard to be different and then manage to all be a bunch of comformist sheep of the worst kind. And they both listen to terrible music. And they both moan alot about insignificant rubbish.

But see, that's the thing. Goths and emos SAY they're struggiling to be different. But what they really want is a group to belong to. It's not the fact that goths and emos dress differently, it's the fact that more often than not they're whiney teenagers who talk rubbish, whine alot, talk about how smart and artistic they are, etc etc.

Anyone that feels like they have to label themself an emo or a goth really has alot of growing up to do. As simple as that.
