These are the songs that everyone knows. Easy to sing or with an amazing beat. (Much Music Listed is showing their top 20 this week and I want to see how close they are to what people really think are the greatest)

Example:
Kiss - I Wanna Rock and Roll All Nite
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

How about "The TEDDY BEAR PICNIC"?

Representing the TEDDIES!

Focus Teddy, Focus... We're looking for Rock Anthems... not the Greatest Ear Worms of all time... (an Ear Worm is a song you can't get out of your head).

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive

Ace of Spades- Motorhead
Free Bird- Lynrd Skynrd
Black Betty- Ram Jam
Stairway to Heaven- Led Zeppelin
Bohemian Rhapsody
Black Night- Deep Purple
Layla- Eric Clapton

lol, is that an "anthem"?

I wanna go where that is an anthem.
I love the part about how her baby went blind. I think it was 'cause Betty had syphillis.:csad:

LOL the video for that song is the most unintentionally hilarious piece of footage this side of catwoman.

I think it was an anthem....because of the sheer force it has to make you wanna gyrate your hips like a blender and also smash things up like that ol family reunion. :cmad: :hyper:

AC/DC.

My friend is obsessed with them. Although alot of their songs can seem similiar they are a great band.
My grandmother has seen them live. :o

Jump - Van Halen
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2
Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd
We Are the Champions - Queen

And more recent songs from the 90's:

Under the Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Creep - Radiohead
Basket Case - Green Day

wah.

those are the songs i think of when someone asks for songs that everyone knows the words to. i'm not saying they're the greatest songs. i'm just saying that everyone seems to know them, and sing to them. in the end you know i'm right.

some i thought of, though most will probably disagree.

I Love Rock & Roll- Joan Jett
Paradise City- Guns and Roses
Born in the USA- Springsteen
Satisfaction- Rolling Stones
We Will Rock You- Queen
Pour Some Sugar On Me- Def Leppard

There's another I'm trying to think of, I can't think of what's it's called but its by Steam. The Na-Na-Na-Hey-Hey song. I think it's called Kiss Him Goodbye, but I'm not sure.
