That was retcon out of the comics. But I see where you're coming from.Really? I thought the brain was from the real Lex. It's stupid comic book science, but still...

I just hope they learn from SV mistakes and SV made many of them. As for the Sex and the City prequel I don't see it working or lasting. They have to heavily edit it to put it on cable. Much of the magic was lost on the original series when they brought it from HBO to network TV and I feel the same will happen here. Which is a shame because it is a good idea and can last for many years really but it will just fall flat with out the humor and stuff that made the original good.Sawyer I know beast wasn't I was more so on the sex prequel. But hopefully we will start to see the shift in network and it changes up. But like I said its going to take time for network to change. More then one season. With shows ending/canning to new shows coming on, and phazing out stuff. Its not going to be a lightswitch change for the network.
As for costume wouldn't be surpirsed if it turns out to be like sv one or a modified one. Ga is sporting one like it in comics now and isn't that hard of a design to make and be used in a weekly series.
What I can't wait to see is who else joins the crew, and then casting. Along with tone/setting for the series. It would be nice if they touch up on ga social crusader bit, and go against corp greed, and occupy stuff thst is big today.
So we can keep budget down in that respect and keep shooting for more pratical effects. Then toss in a few super powered baddies once in awhile. Along with normal thugs and non powered baddies. Maybe take who ever is considered his archh rival and have that character be a reoccuring/supporting cast mate.
Because people were already getting Green Lantern and Green Hornet confused.
They could've used his other moniker, The Emerald Archer.
As shocked as I am to say this I have to agree with you. GA on Smallville was done well. At first I had a problem because they were making him more like Bruce Wayne but really what they did was just took the friendship Batman and Superman had and gave it to GA instead. That was really the only change in him. Although I like the fact that there was no love lost in the comics between Superman and Green Arrow. I liked the fact that they respected one another but were not friends. That's how they started out on Smallville but some how he morphed into a Batman/Green Arrow hybrid which is not bad but not great either. I thought they should not have had him marry Chloe I mean they already did drop hints of a GA/BC relationship and should have followed up on it and he did over stay his welcome. But for an elseworld version he was enjoyable.
Yeah I loved the look they went with on the show and it's really what made me like him so much. I would just hope that they go with a goatee for the next actor and maybe keep the facemask instead of sunglasses.
Yeah they paid homage to it in SV, but obviously the look doesn't transfer well in live-action.Yeah, Green Arrow's costume was great on Smallville. I hope they keep it similar to that.I much prefer his newer costume over the older one. The hat always looked a little silly to me.

And I agree, he was very much a Bruce Wayne like character, aside form the fact that he wasn't as brooding as Batman is made out to be in regards to the other JL members. But I liked that they made him cocky to some extent and charming because gadget-wise he is like Batman, but character wise he is much different.
Rockstar- Oh, I know that. I just like how Smallville updated the hoodie look. It's gotten a lot better over the years. This is probably one of my favorite pictures of Green Arrow:
