I don't know much about Green Arrow. I'll watch the pilot, and if it's good I'll go from there.
from what they have said its gonna be bourne like and no costume why the hell call it green arrow!what a joke this will be!Just cause they say the show may be bourne like doesn't mean the show can't have more comic elements/comicbooky stuff. We don't really know theme/setting for show yet. So even if they play some realism bit. They could still leave it open for magic, aliens and all that. Elognated man would be interesting. I definately could see the question would be a easily doable guest hero along with sandman, wildcat.
The excuse behind that is budget reasons. One thing I was suprised with smallville is that they never used make-up for brainiac or bizzaro.
Hopefully if they use brick they do him with make-up.
The rest of the villains shouldn't be hard to pull off. Mostly normal villains anyways.
^^
I have a bad feeling after reading this review, it smells like the canceled show Wonder Woman.

Pilot Scoop: The CW's Green Arrow Series Targets Once & Again's Susanna Thompson
Arrow, the superhero pilot being developed by Warner Bros. TV for The CW, has set its sights on Susanna Thompson to play Moira Queen, the mother of Green Arrow’s alter ego.
As previously reported, Stephen Amell (formerly of Hung and now steaming up Private Practice) will fill the role of DC Comics’ Emerald Archer aka Oliver Queen.
In addition to her costarring role on ABC’s charming Once & Again, Thompson’s more recent TV credits include NCIS (as Lt. Col. Hollis Mann), NBC’s ambitious-yet-short lived Kings (where she also played a queen, natch) and Cold Case.
The Arrow pilot is being exec-produced and penned by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg, and directed by David Nutter (Dark Angel, Smallville).
The set-up for this standalone series, which is not a spin-off of Smallville: “After being marooned for five years on a deserted island, former billionaire playboy Oliver Queen returns with a mysterious agenda and lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime.”
In addition to Amell and Thompson, David Ramsey (Dexter) has been cast in the pilot as John Diggle, an ex-military/special forces type now working in private security for Oliver Queen.
