I've searched the DC forum and have not found a thread like this, so I guess I'll start it.

I have one question?
Is Soranik Natu really dead?
I hope not, I like her.

read the Green Lantern Thread, the writer has brought back all the lanterns who have been dead for the pass ten years, i'm not writting her off until wikipedia says that she is dead

even if johns was bring back the "supposed dead" what happened in green lantern corps doesnt really tie into the GL comic. natu is a newbie , so it wouldnt make since for johns to bring her back anyway. i really wouldnt mind if she was dead tho. i rather see the prince become a lantern member.

Soranik could easily have died well after the other Lanterns.

that doesnt even make sense. the other lanterns died years ago, natu died like days/weeks after the new corps has formed. how the **** couldve she easily died well after the other lanterns?

That's exactly what I'm saying. She is a recent death, unlike the others.

Oh, wait, now I see it. I should've said: Soranik could easily have died well after the other Lanterns were brought back.

oh ok i gotcha. the writer is probably getting rid of natu, to make more room for the recent ones taht have been bougth back. i really would like that. im more interested in those characters, then natu. chance and frat toren have more potential.

I really doubt that he's getting rid of Natu. Her having been the primary focus in GLC: Recharge, and the first two issues of GLC makes me think she's probably a favourite of Gibbons.

LOL!!!!:D Natu dead? I thought it was a fairly transparent plot that Guy is doing it to flush out the "serial killer". IMO, it's obvious that the prince is the perp and Natu ISN'T dead.

Natu's coming back. I'm fairly certain her death is just a ruse Guy is perpetrating to lure the Lantern murderer after himself. Guy's the foremost GL of the Corps' Honor Guard now. He probably thinks he's got the best chance out of any of the Lanterns of taking the murderer down. He's wrong, since Kyle or Alan could easily take the murderer down better than he could, but since they're unavailable I'd say he's making the right move. ;)

I like Guy he is more interesting than Hal and John Stewart combined.

guy just plays the bad boy role. and really fits that cliche.'"what?! the guardians said what?! screw them im gonna do this my way!" thats his persona right there. i dont know about john, sometimes i think they just created him just to be the black guy in the corps. i dont think they really had any direction with him.

hal jordan especially whats going on with him now seems more interesting to me. i never knew about him until i read kyle rayner's run as green lantern.

Guy Gardner is a jerk, and it's why I love him. He's easily the most interesting Lantern after Alan Scott. He eeks out Kyle Rayner by a hair.

i think Guy is more suited for the tour of duty in space with the rest of the corp then the others
Kyle is still my favourite Lantern even with his transformation into ION
HAL and John, i currently taking their adventures in the DCU as a grain of salt on a open wound
i'm still holding my breath with Alan and checkmate

I'm going to wait for a trade on Checkmate most likely, even though I like Alan Scott. I prefer to see him in JSA however, even though Levitz ruined him in the title's final arc.

i think DC are really trying to create their own version of Nick Fury since he's MIA in the Marvel at the moment

i still don't understand why Alan can't heal his missing eye with the power of the starheart, i don't think their was any pieces of wood in space during the crisis

I'm thinking he doesn't want to. There's that whole 'I'm still human and have to live with'-complex he has.

It was because of the teleportation mis-hap. I think he even mentioned that the eye he DOES have isn't even his. It still doesn't jive with the whole "he's made of Starheart energy" thing, but I'm still waiting to see if it'll be explained in 52.

maybe he just feel guilty that everbodies lives were screwed up that went into space and subconisously can't make himself heal his eyes

Maybe he just really want to wear an eyepatch.

Everyone has gone Pirate crazy recently.
