Okay we now got us are Two-Face in Aaron Eckhart. A Solid choice on Mr. Nolan's part if I say so myself.

But what do you think he will do about how two-face Face will look after his acid face bath?

Old school Green? Purple Rain Pain? New School Blue or just burned flesh skin and no coloring (or discoloring) at all?

My bet with the style of Batman movies that Nolan making (realism) that it will have just the flesh being burned with no coloring at all.

they should burn a random staff members face with real acid and base the makeup for Eckart on that...

As fun as it was seeying old Harvey in TAS, nobody should get a blue scar on his face in no circumstances, except for a Smurf *******, but that goes without saying. And call me crazy but the old school Green Harv always looked like the Hulk to me, I guess I am simple like that.

I think it's pretty ovious Nolan will go with the more realistic looking thing. Not that I ever saw acid burns but I am sure they must be kinda redish, brownish, or simple skin colored. The thing is, I dont care about the colour, as long as the damage on his face is significant. Not as much as it was in The Long Halloween, but something really along these lines.

Or they could simply trow the acid at Eckhart. Or better yet, hire Jack Nicholson to do it. He could use his od line "Hey Eckhart, think about the future!"

Just burned flesh skin , I wnat it to look realistic and very creepy :D

Part of me would like to see the green face from the comics i read growing up on the screen but that colour'll be too associated with the joker(if Nolan indeed greens the jokers hair which if he didn't would start holy murder I imagine ), don't think he would go for that anyway. He'll stick to reality, but as someone else said, we don't just want to see a heavily scarred man we wanna see something as distinctive as the comic book original(and i mean any style, any era or artists rendition) , something that sets him apart from other victims of facial scarring. Perhaps it'll be scarring from a concoction the Joker himaself has invented explaining why the scarring is so unique. That's what i wanna see, just something memorable and distinctive, don't really care about the colour.

Sorry about that.

There. Here is your disclaimer ;)

While I am at it, david icke brings up an excellent point.
the characteristics of Two Face's burning. I to, though love most of the manips that have been done with him, always feltthat therei s something missing from them. And here I have it, there is nothing uinique about them, they are just scarrings. And Two Face, needs to be unigue, otherwhise we will get Mel Gibson all over again. And I dont think anyone wants that.

So what are the possibilities to help his scarring be mroe unique? I think the secret lies in the eye and the mouth. If we make the eye perfect, like, pull the skin around it, burn off the eyebrow, make it swell, change color, run it with blood, inflate the lips of the mouth, off a few teeth, then I think his face would really start to get some character.

And of course: NO PERFECTLY STRAIGHT LINE :D

I asked this before but ill ask it again! Now if he gets splattered with acid all over his left face, wouldnt he be blind from his left eye as well?

ANOTHER excellent question (see, this is what we do not talk about over at the IMDB, but then again, we do get to talk about lesbian orgies, so it evens out).
I putted "blind by acid" in gogle and got alot results.... And a blind eye could go totally white so that would contribute to his unique look.

It would be cool if it burned one of his eye lids off so his eye was permently open

But could we got something like in a PG13 movie?

I think that his look will depend a lot more on whether or not wb wants a batman movie that could potentially scare away kids.

that's the picture i used for reference when i made this manip...

Nice Manip Dorky!

But having the Eye be partial blind (or maybe make it blood red) from the acid will make sense and add a little color to the scar.

why do people think of people burned by fire when dent had acid thrown in his face? acid would eat away at his skin and show some nerves and muscle. and he's two FACE, i hate that artists scar his entire leftside. atleast when b:tas did it it made sense.

Because the effects look the same?

Honestly, for me to take it seriously, skin color. Purple is a hell no.

different acids burn different ways. i just did a google search on "acid burn" and i didn't see ANY pictures where the skin was eaten away enough to show any muscles or nerves underneath. acid doesn't work like the acid from 'Aliens' does. the acid from 'Aliens' is more of a super acid.

if anyone wants to see what an eye would actually look like if burned by acid then click the following link.

WARNING!
it's not a horribly disgusting picture, but if you have a weak stomach i'd advice you to pass...

that being said, i think Nolan's going to want to keep the PG-13 rating and not go into rated-R. so i doubt we'll get anything much worse than the manip i've done. that one is already enough to scare a lot of children...

Well I want to see believable scars not some cheap purple slapped on Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever, I don't want it too scary but like I said I want to believe it.

So no to Green, purple, yellow, blue etc…
