I haven't done a whole lot of comic book fanart in my time, but here are three that I've done pretty recently:

My own, original design of Venom. Kinda weird looking.

A possible look of Venom in Spider-Man 3.

Spider-Man vs. Sandman, one of my greatest triumphs if you ask me.

A pretty unexciting picture of Brainiac. Look obviously inspired by his animated design, as that's the only one that doesn't look goofy.

You have some real awesome work in here Green I especially like the carnage one.

I would however try and stay away from the photoshop filtered backgrounds. They arent doing your images justice, and in the long run your better off drawing your own instead of trying to save time by using photos.

Due to the angle of the leg in the last image, you should be able to see the bottom of spidermans foot.
