So I just found out I am down to a 32 waist size instead of a 33. I swear 33 is one of the worst waist sizes as it's hard as hell to find anything decent in them. I'm already super short so I always have to get pants hemmed as it is.

32 feels like the pants/shorts world is now my oyster though.

Lol what?

Tyrell got killed by his own creation because the security in his pyramid was too dumb to catch Roy Batty. At least Wallace made it through to the end. He was so powerful that he wasn't even close to being an objective for anyone.
Helped make him more than a conveniently timed exposition machine.

That's like saying all Tyrell did was talk about flames and brightness.
He felt like a memorable conversationalist in his exposition process, and has some memorable lines.

I'm short, too. I've sometimes shopped in the boys section. :(

So LA Confidential is getting rebooted but on CBS. I mean I could understand it if HBO or a streaming service got it but this just seems bad and the castings won;t even be top notch like it might have been on HBO or something.

I sometimes have folks not believe I am an actual adult, let alone in my mid-30's. I refuse to shop in the boys section out of pure principle. :hehe:

Really though, considering about 3 or so years ago I was pushing a 42-4 waist size AND still super short I'm good with hemming some 32's.

Stuck on the Manhattan bridge now. The MTA is really dropping the ball these last few years.

not many teams try to play defense for real anymore.

when i found out who was in the dunk contest last night, somehow i ended up down a blackhole of videos and stumbled upon a shawn kemp highlight video that was all stuff he did in game. man, does anyone play or come down the court with that much force anymore? ReignMan and the Glove were my favorite players when i was in elementary school. i had this hideous supersonics hat i wore everywhere in 4th and 5th grade lol

Point total in the NBA lately have been insane, but when I watch the Cavs, I can FEEL them not caring, LOL! I can see they expect to flip that switch in the playoffs and do what they did last year, and if they don't change mentality, I see them getting bounced by the Eastern Semis :csad:

I don't think we have enough active posters anymore to support games like Survivor. Or at least not active enough to commit that much time (I don't think I'd have that much time anymore). I think in order to get to that point we'd have to start small with games (not Survivor) that take less effort to play to recreate that mindset and build up to it. I'd love to see it happen as I think Survivor really brought the Community and various other areas of the Hype together... built friendships. In my view, those were the Hype's glory days for that reason.

I was actually thinking about this recently and thought I'd give it a shot. I started a thread in the Books and Music sub-forum recently regarding an elimination style game that's music-based. Easy to play. Competitive. Wouldn't take much time. Etc. I figured that could be a good way to get things going. No replies :(

HERE'S THE THREAD

That activity level in here is my primary worry for hosting a new Survivor game. I am thinking of developing a game and seeing if it gets enough attention for sign-ups at some point (this is far off yet and I haven't even considered co-hosts) and if I get enough sign-ups, gravy. If not, table it and maybe see if we can do something smaller.

Guess what I wont be watching, lol.

I just saw Wind River. Well ****. :funny:
Everyone keeps mentioning how it's such a hard watch that it doesn't have much replay value, but honestly, I'm finding that if I just skip that scene, it's quite re-watchable. I've seen it 3 times (minus that scene) since I got it on blu-ray.

I feel like Mike is gonna bump every thread he can before the night's over.

Gerald's Game was that for me.

I had that same problem when I was younger. I was stuck at 33 for something like 4 or 5 years. When I jumped up to 34 it was amazing... and then it kept jumping higher :(

Matt tried to start a Big Brother somewhat recently and it got very little interest. I can't help but think that those days are over.

Hello my sweet plumpy peaches. I wish you a good superbowl weekend where a team in Georgia can't possibly **** it up... But.. I have to say... Go Patriots. Why? I hate the Eagles. I also hate the Patriots... but we are literally watching a living legend. Tom Brady is the GOAT. This is a Michael Jordan, Greg Maddux, Pete Rose, Roger Federer (another amazing moment if you missed the Aussie tourney like a fool), Serena Williams, Ali, Happy Gilmore type of thing... Will never be seen again. I want to see how many rings the old man can get.

So, I give you a track from the first album I ever owned.

oh and ill prob share whatever i cook to make you jealous. g'day, losers.

Welcome to the old age. :p At 50 it doesn't get any better.
