I remember that too (I think). My guess is if we get any of the original Guardians line up, they will just be rewritten so they fit in the present. If time travel is ever used, I hope they tread very carefully.

+ 1 for this. While I don't HATE time travel, I don't need to see it here. It's such a big concept, I like time travel movies to focus on the implications of time travel (like Looper), not just use it as a plot device.

I can't remember the last time a Marvel trailer wasn't released on a Tuesday. Although there would usually be some kind of teaser poster by now

Agreed. Plus, I'd have expected at least a couple of stills.

(I know we've had the 'line up' pic, but even Gunn was surprised they released that.

I can't wait for a trailer, but I want to get back on the purpose of this movie.

So it will probably feature Thanos. Thanos, being seen at the end of the Avengers, ties the Avengers arc with the GotG arc (although they were technically connected anyway due to being in the MCU). So how would the two interact?

I just can't see an Avengers meets Guardians movie happening. But what do you guys think?
