BTW, I'm definitely getting a Universal Church of the Truth vibe from Ayesha, but, to my knowledge, they haven't confirmed that. Does anyone know if that's the case?

I like the composition and colours of the new poster, just a bit irked by the obvious photoshopping. My question is if they have tried to evoke memories/catch the mood of the 80's style Drew Struzan movie posters, why not either just have Struzan [or someone else] paint the poster? Give me one of them over a photoshop job anyday.

Read on the old thread about Stallone and Gunn saying that we've seen him. I maintain [as I said when the last teaser came out] that it looks like someone else replaces Yondu as leader of the Ravagers and that Stallone is playing that character - we saw in previously footage some kind of bearded character taunting Yondu, who appeared to be a prisoner tied to a chair - I bet you that's Sly.

Yeah the 2 Guardians 1 posters are great. Especially in this age of s***y posters.

But that GOTG2 poster...gotdammit thats just terrible. I know posters probably don't sell like they use to and the movie is the most important, but how is anyone ok with that being released to the public?

It's the best poster MS did in Phase II. But that's still not saying much.
Their teaser poster on the other hand are always inspired, creative and beautiful. It's just the final theatrical ones where they should improve drastically

True. The concept artist MS employs are the best in business, imo. Yet Meinerding or Park, who could do great stuff if they would let them, never get a chance to do a Struzan-esque movie poster

Ego is going to be like a money shot. Not sure why they would give it away in the trailer?
