Guilty Pleasures

dunno...after seeing the 2003 Pan movie about a year ago there was a resurgence in all things Pan for me. Hook, the disney one, even ready the book. Classic character.

my guilty pleasure is definately "Power Rangers the movie."

Norbit is the newest one. I swear, as goofy as the movie is, it will make you laugh just by the sheer amount of ad-libbing the entire cast does. And the humor is surprisingly dark.

And the big one...

All `80s kids did. Which brings up another topic. There's movies from our childhood that shouldn't be considered guilty pleasures. For example:

I love you for knowing this movie.:D

Guys, guys, guys. I'm seeing films on here that I wouldnt even think of calling 'guilty pleasures' as they're good movies ('Total Recall'??'28 Days Later'? wtf?!!).

Now these are what I'd call guilty pleasures!!!....................

Remo? I've only seen the Fred Ward movie -which I freakin love to death.

And American Ninja 3? Never took to David Bradley personally. His Sean always seemed a bit of a weak ninja as opposed to Dudikoff's Joe (ironic considering that Bradley's the real martial artist, whereas Dudikoff had to be taught some moves for the role)

well I do have a few guilty pleasures, but can't remember all of them. The one I can think of right now is:

try voting for it in the tread best movie themes nominations

It's good and all but for the best off all time I went for:-

- Monty Norman (007 theme)
- John Williams (Star Wars theme)
- John Carpenter (the Halloween theme)

It was a damn hard call though.............

Lol. Watched this only the other day. Cheesy as hell, and there's about every cliche in the book (and some new ones!) in it but it's fun to watch.

I really wanted to like a movie about lesbian vampires, but that movie just didn't do it for me.

Do you fantasize about Tinkerbell?

I've always felt that Julia Roberts was overrated...look-wise.

No, I don't feel guilty about watching it.

You should be embarrased.

Notebook is a modern classic.

Norbit is the newest one. I swear, as goofy as the movie is, it will make you laugh just by the sheer amount of ad-libbing the entire cast does. And the humor is surprisingly dark.

I wanted to see Norbit this weekend, but there was a change of plans. I'll probably check it out sometime this week or next weekend.

None of the films you posted are guilty pleasures.

Why would Army of Darkness be a guilty pleasure? The movie is a cult classic.

I love you for knowing this movie.:D

Wait a minute...what? The sequels are debatable, but the original 3 Ninjas movie is a classic. If there's a person from our age group who doesn't know about 3 Ninjas we should punch them in the face.

3 Ninjas rocks the s**t

Agreed.

Now these are what I'd call guilty pleasures!!!....................

Agreed.

I'm not a big Cobra fan, but it has entertained me. :o

When I first watched it back in the late 80s, it scared the hell out of me, was way gory and disturbing at that time, but now cheesy as f***. :woot:

The film was always cheesy. When Stallone drank some coke in the supermarket before killing the dude I knew you couldn't take the film seriously.

It was actually a Coors - although he is standing next to a Pepsi display.

;)

Supermarket Killer: Get back! I got a bomb here! I'll blow this whole place up!

Marion Cobretti: Go ahead. I don't shop here.

:woot:

Lol.

Not to mention:-

"You wasted a kid, now I think it's time to waste you."

Ah, the 80's. Life was so much simpler back then. :D
