Does anyone else think there should be more young Bruce flashbacks?

They were easily my favorite parts in Begins and I think they serve the story well if the explain how his childhood releates to his battle with the Joker, and plus I really think Gus Lewis is the next Christian Bale in a lot of ways.

And while we are on this discussion. Emma Lockhart, yay or nay?

does anyone else find the heart under her picture a mite unsettling?

:heart::heart:HAWT.:heart::heart:

I mean... I mean they should come back.

If Sionis is in this and they show the family's association with the Wayne's. What about the chap that played Thomas? Is he coming back?

The heart needs to go, buddy.

I personally didn't think he did a good job. I don't know. Lewis just bugged the hell out of me for some reason.

He really did look like a mini-Bale, though.

Whatever Nolan wants, that's what I'm for...

not sure why Nolan had to put the nose sniff nostril move in there during the Wayne death scene. that bugged the hell out of me more than anything. and that there was no transition between his father bringing Bruce upstairs to 'set the bone' and Bruce waking up after having a nightmare what must have been some time after the fall down the well.

That kid wasn't a very good actor IMO, If there are anymore flashbacks I'd like to see him replaced just like Holmes was.

Gus Lewis looks like a mini Tom Delonge.

People are overreacting to the joke in the thread. Loosen up.

Gus Lewis was okay, but I think they could get a better actor, and if the flashbacks are taking place when Bruce's parents are still alive, they might need a younger actor to play the role anyway. When was Batman Begins made? 2004? Three years can change alot when you're that age.

I really liked that little kid. He delivered the emotion and insight into young Bruce without being overly sappy and sweet like most child actors. Some of his scenes were actually kinda gut wrenching. God i hate child actors, not this kid tho.

However I think Bruce's childhood is done for now. Let TDK be about one dark night in Gotham, a circus that's to come to town. It's too urgent to go that far back in time.

gus lewis nailed it imo. id like to see him back if the script called for it.

if they bring in Leslie they shoudl show what happened to Bruce post-death and pre-trial. And see him as an isolated young boy and then, sort of coming out of his shell a bit after Leslie talsk to him, going with the theme: "things have to get worse before they can get better."

hey yeah good idea ^

although they'll have to find a way to use Leslie in the present day as well. and TDK already seems quite busy with lots of minor roles

Just an update, I contacted Gus and Emma's respective agents about possible reprisals in TDK, and when they get back to me, I'll let you all in on the good news...wink...wink.!

I'd like to see Bruce have nightmares of his parents' deaths, so they might bring him back. To shoot different angles or something.

do we even know if the kid is coming back?

do we even know if the kid still looks like a kid?

Michael Jackson is somewhere in Iraq lurking in the bowels of this thread.

Hey Dude, I'm just trying to give you an update on Gus's whereabouts. No need to make Michael Jackson jokes. I'm sure Gus has a fine physical love life that has nothing to do with tired old 80's pop singers.
