I'm not gonna base anything off the EW cover because they are notoriously BAD at cover art. I think the genie will have various looks throughout the movie. I personally won't be satisfied unless I see him in sheep form.

In all fairness, I didn't expect them to match or beat the animated version. Add there a challenge to find an English-speaking and Mid-Eastern looking actress with singing skillz... As a compromise, what we ended up with is a decent result.

Funny, I watched that film the other day, and was thinking the same thing.

I don’t mind Genie not being blue. I think Smith looks goofy, but I have a feeling it’ll work just fine in context.

The costumes and production design are amazing. If the whole movie looks like those pictures, this thing is definitely getting a few Oscar nominations.

I love how bright and colorful everything looks.
