Maybe they'll add a new verse in the song to allow a rap for Smith but considering Alan Menken is back to handle the music, I can't imagine they'll completely change the genre of the Genie's songs.

Yeah agree. Also Robin Williams didn't full on sing... he sort of did that talking-singing thing that people do when they're not good singers (the actor who played the professor in My Fair Lady did the same thing) so perhaps Will Smith will do a similar thing.

I'm not sure how they could have translated the genie from the animation any better to be fair... I mean, he's big and out of proportion in terms of body size compared to other characters. I think they've done well.
