Fantasy Guy Ritchie Directing Disney's Aladdin

How in f@&!’s name was that first trailer ever released?

Not really liking what I'm seeing from Jafar but it was a good trailer.

Jeez that's looks so much better... Why did they wait ?

And why didnt fhey attach it to Captain Marvel?

They probably only just barely cut it together.

Just too much obvious green screen for my tastes, and the lighting makes it look like a really well done TV movie. Smith is Smith, and the genie looks a little better, even though they were quick cuts.

Of course, wouldn't be a Guy Ritchie movie without dramatic slow motion shots.

Jafar is the one area that I'm still unsure of, like someone else says, he doesn't have that sinister feel.

Otherwise, looking forward to it, got tingles down my spine when A Whole New World started, and I'm kind of digging Will as Genie.

Seems to me they don’t want him to seem evil in the trailers. Probably so the new generation of viewers has a twist if that is indeed the case.

No matter how much of an improvement this is, the meme is still going to exist for all eternity, lol.

I rarely laugh at these cliche meme jokes, but somebody said "the new prince of persia looks great" and i just started cracking up.

Really good trailer. I thought Will Smith was absolutely horrible in the first teaser but here's he looks really promising.

Jafar is still garbage though. He just looks completely ridicilous and out of place.

Everybody is basically saying with how Jafar looks compared to Aladdin, would she really hate having to marry or be enslaved by him?

Plenty of girls dig the bad boy type.

Is it that hard to cast an old, sinister looking Jafar ? I mean Sam Elliot is there, Dafoe too, loads of choices.

Instead they chose to cast a young, attractive actor that even looks more attractive than Aladdin :funny:

Hell, they have Numan Acar in the movie.

Yeah, it's one thing if the hero and villain are about equally good looking, like Thor and Loki, it's another to make the bad guy look far more handsome than the hero. On the plus side I guess it gives average lookin' guys hope they can score someone as hot as Naomi, so it's not all bad news.

In defense of Jafar, if this was a straight up adaptation, there would be an issue of a 50 something old man trying to marry Jasmine. I don't necessarily have an issue with a younger Jafar.

Nonsense.
