Guy Ritchie to direct Lobo

^ I agree on that one as well. I think he was bad ass in 'Watchmen'. He mentioned Rourke in his interview also. That's someone i wouldn't mind playing the main man neither, he was Definitely Bad ass in 'Sin City'. But he has a lot of things on his plate right now. Hopefully the rating changes as well....

I don't know about JDM as Lobo (don't think he looks menacing enough but then again, he could surprise us) but I sure as hell hope Guy Ritchie won't cast Vinnie Jones in the part. That'd be a disaster.

Danny Trejo could work as Lobo.

Personally, I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan gave an amazing performance as The Comedian in Watchmen, so if he got cast as Lobo, I have no doubt he would give an awesome performance, they could do a lot worse than cast JDM IMO.

I agree. My question was towards, juggernaut, though. maybe in his younger days I'd have been supportive of it.

Also if a guy like JMD or someone his age is to be lobo i dont see the issue at all. Since the character will likely be with makeup and/or posthestic look to him.

JDM gave an excellent performance as Blake in WATCHMEN, but I wonder if perhaps he's too understated an actor to portray someone like Lobo. I'd be for giving him a chance, though, if he's passionate about the character.

it seems like he's interested. But usually when actors campaign for a certain role openingly never get the role anyway..

For example, I remember there was a guy who very public about wanting a role in The Losers; never got it.

Exactly. As far as casting Lobo, this is one of the few instances where casting a Wrestler couldn't Hurt, given he's 7 ft. tall, Blue-white, and acts very, very over the top and aggressive.

yea with the whole height and hugeness of lobo i wouldnt mind a wrestler or a stunt actor playing the part. It would make it a bit easier then trying to make a 6'0 guy into 7'0 guy. But what ever they choose i hope it turns out well.

Tom Hardy is a good actor. And as seen in Brosnon can put on some serious weight, but he seems short. He's definitely a good suggestion, I find it hard to think anyone is better than Kevin Durand though
