My favorite thing in Lobo threads so far is the same people who applaud the Lobo of the G rated Superman the animated series are the same ones who are so against the PG13 rating and demand it be R. Kind of a head scratcher, ain't it?

Mickey Rourke or Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be solid choices. Morgan needs to bulk up though.

I just wonder what the budget will be for this movie, I cant see it being SR, TDK, GL level, or even Batman Begins level as the character isnt popular enough and is a little too 'out there' to warrant a $150 million budget IMO.

$100-120 million seems about right to me, maybe even lower, what do you guys think?

Exactly. It works. Its ok to have a preference for R, so do I, but a PG-13 Lobo definitely works despite what people want to say. Language isnt a problem, Lobo doesnt use real curse words. Obviously there will be need to be violence, but how many people does Wolverine or James Bond kill every movie. Enough. It just means we won't see someone pick up their guts. Id like to, but I dont need to. And then theres the sex. Always welcome, but almost never necessary.

Wolverine may stab people in the movies but its still PG-13, it works, which is my point

well like hex was a lower budget lobo doesnt need a 150+ million dollar budget to make it work. Plus with a 60-80 million you can do alot with that.
