I've seen no shortage of commercials for The Losers and the buzz is generally positive, so I don't see why WB would be upset about that. Granted, that may change when actual reviews come out, but it looks like WB has nothing to really worry about there. It likely won't be a blockbuster, but it will likely make its money back.
Lobo is only an interesting property with someone with a specific take on the material attached. Until they find another director, it's really not worth worrying about.
But, I do think it's healthy for WB to exploit all genres that DC publishes. Heck, much of DC's non-superhero stuff is easier to adapt anyways. There's no reason DC/WB couldn't have a presence in all quarters of the year. Western, horror, war, comedy, drama, thriller, etc.
