LOL. Yeah, I hope she's more than Boba Fett. And by that I mean, I hope she actually DOES something and doesn't just get overrated by fanboys years later because her mask looked pretty cool.

Yeah. Even Lucas himself admitted a long time ago that the character was insignificant but all the fanboy worship led him to include the Fetts in the prequel trilogy. Still, even there, it was Jango that was involved and Boba still barely did anything, haha.

For somebody "insignificant" to George, there was an awful lot of effort put into his character design But with his main focus being the Skywalker's, I'm sure he never felt the need to put much effort in any supporting character outside of the main cast. All the throwaway villains in the PT prove that.

He put effort into all the character designs. The Imperial Guards in ROTJ look f***ing awesome but they don't do jack. Just because he made a guy look cool doesn't mean the character had much significance.

You can't honestly say the effort put in Boba Fett's costume design was the same as throwing a red towel and helmet on another character. Come on

My point being, yes, George didn't care much for him originally but the fans loved him. Unfortunately, George went half-ass on him in the PT, so it's up to Disney to make him live up to his hype. They've showed it in books and comics, but it won't matter if people don't see anything in a live-action film. Even his appearances in the CW cartoon weren't that great, but I did see they were showing character development.
