'H2', Rob Zombie's sequel to 'Halloween'

You really think its gonna be that bad it doesn't even make a million dollars?

I mean there isn't no big time movies coming out this week. I know its gonna drop, but its not gonna drop to the point where its not making no money at all. No movie has ever done that, which is a big well known release. Maybe Gigli.

Okay, I over exagerated...but it'll be close to that. I think it's going to drop HARD. The reviews have scared people off so much. LOL, the reviews are more scary than the film. haha...I kid, but seriously, it's going to drop like a deuce after a visit to Taco Bell.

I'm thinking everyone who's going to see H2 has seen H2 already. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if H2 drops 80% by the end of the week and only takes in a few hundred thousand.

I think it's going to see a big time drop. I'm thinking somewhere around 65 percent.

I liked the band in this also.

I think they have a real actual cd out to buy.

Yeah, Jesse Dayton is the real band, Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures is the fictional band. Jesse did the Banjo and Sullivan stuff for DR.

I know they have songs on the H2 sountrack, but I swear I heard Rob talk about a whole seperate cd of Captain Clegg to go side by side with the soundtrack, but haven't found or seen it anywhere. I actually went out looking for it today, but didn't find EITHER. I know the soundtracks out, but I just couldn't locate it anywhere.

And can I honestly ask, why so much hate for LOVE HURTS?

Because its Michael Myers getting all emo. Seeing his past was a silly mistake imo.

I thought 'Love Hurts' stuck out like a sore thumb.

I just realized that the most important thing about the Halloween franchise was missing, and that's MM's theme music oh yeah a variation of it runs during the end credits but who the hell stays throughout the credits?

Whats a Halloween movie without it's signature theme music? that's like the shark from Jaws without the scary music or Darth Vader without his theme.

Okay, I agree, it was completely out of place even for Zombie. Emo-Michael...haha *stab stab stab...slit slit slit*

There was none of the signature music in the movie at all except for the main theme at the very end.

I really didn't miss the theme to be honest. I know it's big part of the old films, but I could honestly watch the movie and understand taht it really didn't fit into the film at all.

I think if some of the original music had been in this one it might have felt more like a Halloween movie. The fact that it didn't have any of it until the very end really hurt the movie.

Ah! Cool, they have H2 online. I will watch and review. Even though i'll KNOW i'll hate it. The ending was so lame.

Any movie that ends with "Main character in mental hospital" is a cop out imo.

Except for one. An idea for a entry in a series that ending would only work with.

If you know you'll hate it, I take it you're watching it just to give TAC a hardtime later?

Agreed. Just saw the movie.........I thought it was pure garbage. I didn't like the remake all that much, but I thought it was okay, but this move just takes it to a whole different level of horse****! I didn't care for any of the characters save Sheriff Brackett. Zombie tried to make this movie his own and he did......which is too bad cause his vision of this movie is crap. Convoluted, too dark in many scenes and utterly insane with the visions. I give this movie a 2/10.

I really like House of 1,000 Corpses, and loved Devil's Rejects. Those movies fit Zombie's style perfect, but his style does not translate well with slasher films as evidenced by his two entries into the genre. He tried to be original and he was, but being original isn't always a good thing. This movie deserves the under performing B.O. and all the negative reviews it gets.

I'm smell a Razzie Award for H2...may get several. May even take the whole damn Award Program.

No, I mean, I do have to watch it to form an opinion on it. I cant just hate it for the sake of hating it.

But really...am I the only one who has a problem with "If you dont like it, then you cant talk about it" attitude they're bringing? Its annoying, and asinine.

Did you see me on the TF2 forums telling people to get out for loathing the movie? Hell no.

I used to be like that, so I guess thats why Its a big pet peeve of mine now.

But really, am I the only person who has a huge issue with their entire attitude on this forum? "If you dont like it, go away" crap pisses me off. EVERYONE has the right to an opinion. Good, or bad.

The "haters"(i loath that phrase) on the TF2 didnt bother me. In fact, I had some very interesting discussions with them. I didnt tell them to get out. They can say, and did say whatever they wanted to. And I agreed or disagreed. We discussed. Its a discussion forum. You cant discuss a whole thread with just one opinion.

Eh, the gore fest to me seemed almost perverse and annoying.
I did how ever actually feel scared for the girl in the hospital chase, she did a good job.
I didn't mind the hill-billy everything else and, I just couldn't get into it.

I'd give it 3/10 at best. It's too dark, both visually and mentally and is just pointlessly disgusting.

Liked this much better the second time around. It's better than the remake.

My problem regarding the music is it has too many soundtrack songs, and not enough, if any, score music. A different take on the old theme would have been nice, but it would have been nice to have some sort of theme music; Well written scores can add such an atmosphere to give people chills, but this movie was too silent in that regard, I'll have to rewatch RZH's first one to remind myself how the music was in that.

And yes, I'll agree 'Love Hurts' was the oddest song to pick for a stripper dance. Yeah that may have been how she was feeling in her head, but I'm sure there are better songs that are more believable in that setting.

I agree it can be annoying, granted in here it's not as bad as the haters in the Twilight/New Moon thread, but I do find it annoying that if you bother to try to have a discussion on what people didn't like, they end up just repeatedly saying "It sucks, terrible, piece of s***, etc"

No, your wrong. The classic "stalk" beats are still in the movie. Just not the actual Halloween theme till the very end.
