'H2', Rob Zombie's sequel to 'Halloween'

Liked this much better the second time around. It's better than the remake.

I did too. I HATED it the first go around...but the second time I actaully enjoyed it. I think it had more to do with my hopes not being crushed the second time around. haha

If they go back how are they gonna explain it then?

I mean RZ's two films.

The same way they explained Michael popping up in H20 wearing the same Mask and Jumpsuit, un-scarred, in Cali out of no where. Suspension of Disbelief. Or just not addressing itat all.

I hope in the next film redux, it's all preppies, yuppies and no darn curse words too! Wipe the slate clean, then put up the old blue print, and continue down that worn path!

In the opening of H20, Michael hunted down Nurse Marion Chambers for Laurie's file to find her. He didn't quite come out of nowhere and it was adressed.

They could say Darn and Heck! Oh the swears!

Oh they could be just like you know those two other films from the last two years, just forget about those.

As for the Steve Miner rumor....possible....but I don't know what to really think about it all. I think the Weinsteins may have just jumped the gun, announced something to get attention and then are working from there with nothing other than HAVEING to live up to the 3D aspect of it now.

As for what to do and where to go...is continueity really that big of an issue? We had two pages of dicussion last night about continueity in the series and I think they can just pull Michael out of a hat and just go from there with no real explination. It would really be more important to focus on where to take the plot and Michael, as opposed to "how'd he survive".

Steve Miner...perhaps he could do the REAL sequal to H20. HAHA, forget Resurection and go from H20? But then again, Michael lived at the end of Resurection...didn't he? His eyes opened at the end.

I think it's going to be months before we hear anything about the next movie.

It's explained in the film, but expanded upon more in the SAM comic. Michael waited, for years, watching Loomis from afar. Loomis knew Michael was always there, watching him, waiting for the right moment, trying to learn something from Loomis's reactions. Michael didn't believe Laurie was dead at all, but he also didn't have anything to go from, so he waited, for years, and years, watching Loomis and waiting for the right time to attack and gain the information he needed.

Or just show magical white stallions and a mom in a wedding dress.

But what was he doing for years, they pretty much skipped over that part to reboot the continuity of Jamie and Thorn/Smiths Grove Cult. Also, how did he track down the nurse, and why the hell did she have a picture of loomis?

Excuse my ignorance on details, I've only seen H20 maybe 3 times, as opposed to the other sequels.

I must look up this comic.

I'm sure the picture of Loomis was more of a memorabilia thing for the cast and crew due to Donald Pleasance's passing.
As for what he was doing, it was just said a comic was produced that explained it. Remember movies didn't always need to have everything spelled out for the viewers.

The comic's online over at the Halloween website. It's not an actual phyical book, but an online one.

Yes they do. Didn't you see the opening credits of H2? :cmad:

I didn't realize that makes it a good plot point?

It was still spelled out in black and white on the screen. No different than the "visions" seen in the other films.

As for stuff being spelled out for viewers, I don't expect much plot in Slasher Flicks (among other things), but I expect some semblance of continuity.

^^ I say take place before it. I mean, where he hell with they go after Ressurection? HOwever, it may not work out exactly that way.

They could always go after John Hartnett's character.:o

What about Michael's incest child with Jamie? Oh, did we forget Michael has a kid himself? And with his neice noless? Oh that's right, we're ignoring those films. I forgot.

I don't know what you're talking aboiut. Nothing in the series ever happen like that.:oldrazz:
