The Dark Knight Harley Quinn

I swear to God, if I see Harley on the screen, I'll walk out of the damned movie

I'd love to see her In the movies. She'd be great because it's a person we haven't seen on the big screen

Oh, yeah I like her. I don't know about her as Harley though.

I thought you first suggested her to me - or well to the board as a whole and thus ipso facto me.

After all - I AM BATMAN (begins sequel forums)

StorminNormans Ego leveled up!

BOF said it was Miranda who told him so I'd put money on it.

BOF said Miranda passed along information from a guy whose friend is Emma Thompson's cousin.

It was not as if Miranda herself heard it.

I still wuv Ms. Fox though

RICCI DAMMIT!

Hey I like that manip. If Harley looked like that cool.

I would actually be disappointed if Nolan does not take the opportunity to have Harley in the new franchise. If there's two things about Joker that has changed very significantly since the Jack Nicholson days, they're 1) Mark Hammil and 2) Harley Quinn. Harley Quinn is just plain a great way to show more sides of the Joker's personality, and gives him someone to have interesting dialog with when Batman isn't around. Bringing Joker back to the silver screen and not having Harley with him would be a sad missed opportunity IMO.

Am i the only one to gets a sellout feel when i see Jett patting Miranda Fox on the back for scoops there?

The whole Harleen Quinzel to Harley Quinn [from the word harlequin of course] sounds completely ridiculous to me and a rly rly poor attempt into charactermaking... Don't get me wrong, I love the Harley Quinn nickname... but Harleen Quinzel? FFS!!! Why don't they make it more obvious next time :o

Harleen Quinzel is her real name, the it changed to Harley Quinn because a HarleQuinn mean "a comic servant" in ancient times (like a court jester). Hence, the name. Der!

Well she DID get creeped out by her newly formed cult around here.

...I get a weird vision in my head of Jett inviting Miranda back to his pad where he wears a red silk robe with a pipe in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other, then he invites her to sit on his leather couch in front of the fire "thanking" her for the scoops.

You are absolutely right!!! :hq:

Anyways, have any of you seen "Birds of Prey"? It was a great show, and Harley was portayed pretty good.

God, I hope not. I'm going to take this with a few grains of salt, though. That so-called "last line" sounds way too lame for a Nolan film. But you never know, Warner Bros. and their infinite supply of stupidity could fit it in there.

I still don't believe it, but maybe. So could all the talk of Gellar being in TDK be for real?

Anyways...

I would go with the girl from Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai for the Harley Quinn part...

Tricia Vessey.

What a cuttie!

Although I think that Harley Quinn was a great Idea for the cartoons. I don't think she is nessecary for the movies or comics. She enables people to relate to the joker in a new light. I don't think we need that in the films. The Joker I love shows people whats wrong with humanity, and pushes it one step further, and then laughs in your face. He dosen't need a cute sidekick to do that.

Save Harley for another movie.

Just focus on the Batman/Joker rivalry. Quinn would simply be a distraction at this point.

Harley could be introduced at the end of TDK and then have her as Joker's sidekick in the third film.

i hope so i would love to see who they cast for her.
