Exactly,he's worried that Harry's anti-X3 writings may harm a movie he hopes will make him some loot so he starts these threads to take a pop at him with playground based humour

I don't see you complaining about all the Avi Arad bashing on these boards, or stepping up to defend Brett Ratner when he was attacked relentelssly. Well, considering Brett Ratner is the director of the film in question, and Avi Arad is the head of flippin' Marvel, I'd say, like 'em or not, they're much more relevant to the topic at hand than the Redheaded One.

Why is it important what Harry Knowles or his site says? Whether we like his site or not and whether we agree with his (or Moriarity, Quint etc) views - You can not deny that his site isn't one of the most influential movie sites on the web.

The review of the first draft of JJ Abrams Superman is an example of how big their influence is. Once AICN (and the talkbackers) tore it to shreads the project never stood a chance. There was always a mountain to climb.Had it not been for that review, Ratner would probably have done Superman and Singer X3. Same thing when Beyonce tested for Lois Lane.

So, i appreciate what AD has done (sending an e-mail). Even though i don't like Harry's views sometimes i do want to hear his opnion.The same goes for Chud.com who have also been critical of Ratner and co. The trailer made quite a few haters in to lovers. I was curious was if he was one of those.

But it is an interesting situation, considering how badly AICN ripped X-Men 3 to shreds, based on incomplete evidence (an incomplete version of an early draft that wasn't even close to the final shooting script), and stated this film was doomed from the beginning.

Now, we finally have things that are more conclusive. Interviews with cast and crew members outlining more final aspects of the plot. 2 trailers and 3 TV spots that give us actual photage of the film... it'd be nice to hear what these people's opinions are now when they were so strong negativley before, with inconclusive evidence.

Thanks man. This isn't a harry bashing thread it's more of a WTF? thread. I go to Harry's site and like reading the udpates there from his sidekicks every day but I just don't get Harry sometimes. I don't want to believe the "Deconstructing" story about him but it's hard not to. He should have zero complaints about Iron Man. Not a single one with Favreau on it. Should comment on it today but don't worry I won't make a thread on it it. Perhaps a post.
