I see no implication of "only scenes" being tinted.
I followed it up talking about the scenes on the cover. So I apologize if you misconstrued my post...plus both OOTP and HBP are not blue and green the entire film, which I also mentioned.

Can we get back to the Deathly Hallows discussion and quit bickering about the coloring? It's not only taking this thread completely off-track, it's boring me.

Wait until we start talking about the credit's font.

Re-watching the series, it dawns on me. This probably sounds a bit odd, but if I have one regret in life, it's missing out on growing up with Harry Potter. I was always aware of the series, but I didn't latch on till the years between OOTP and HBP.

Still on the 4th book, though (:o.) I'm waiting to finish the series AFTER the films, since they were what first introduced me to the universe. I'd rather experience the films fresh. Although I know Snape's deal, damn internet.

For me, PoA is the best Potter film. Cuaron really knew where to take the franchise. This Thursday will be nuts. NUTSO. I can't imagine how some of you are feeling. It must be like part of your life is ending.

I was lucky. I grew up pretty much on par with Harry. I started a few years younger, and when the series ended I was one year older then him and it came out the summer before my senior year of highschool. Synced up pretty much perfect for me.

The best part was the pre-book release speculation. ESPECIALLY after the 5th book. Man, I had soooo many questions after that one. Some of them are still unanswered actually.

But yeah, I consider myself very lucky to have grown up with Harry.

It weird. My time with Potter started with the first film and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I grew up with the material and loved it, but spending weekends "discussing" the material with other fans use to drive me up the wall, and yet I couldn't get enough of it.

I was 16 when I took my then 10 year old bro to watch the first movie as he was reading the books. The movie hooked me and I read the books and have seen every movie in theaters opening weekend. It made me sad a few years back when he got to be 16 or 17 and didn't want to watch Harry Potter anymore because it wasn't cool to him. So, I go with my sis now. Got her into the movies.

Harry potter has been a part of my life since 1998 when I bought Sorcerer's Stone at a school book festival. I was 8 at the time so I have grown up with Harry Potter. For me 13 years of my life are coming to an end.

I bought the first book at a school book fair in '98 too, I was 12 so I wasn't that far from the kids ages in the book when I started.:yay:

I'm jealous of you all. :cmad::o

I started reading in 1997 - when I was six.

Fast forward to 2007, I'm 16 years old, and stayed up till 10 am reading the deathly hallows and not believing I finished it; and that it was over.

Now, i'm reliving that same feeling all over again.

My brother is 20 and wants me to come home to see the movie with him this weekend. You're brother sounds lame. (Sorry, but people who aren't nerds aren't fun)

When the SS came out in 2001 i was 11 so it was like i was going to hogwarts with the first years. That added to the experience.:)

He is lame. He turned into a 'bro' his senior year of high school and more so when he went to college. My cousin, before he was married, was a huge Potter nerd like me. Now that he has kids, he can't go to movies hahahaha. Moral of the story is, don't have kids.

At least he's a wise parent and doesn't bring infants to theaters. He's in a select few, unfortunately.

Indeed, what PWN3R said, responsible parents don't bring young kids where they shouldn't go or don't want to go. So the real moral is when you do have kids: realize your needs come second.

What's so wrong with kids?
'

'They're noisy, they're messy, they're expensive. They smell. Some of them smell; babies smell"

Truer words have never been spoken :o

Is that quote from Jurassic Park? When I read it all I can hear in my head is Dr. Alan Grant

My girlfriend made this yesterday, because she's awesome.
