Has any body ever gone to wizard world chicago? any tips?

So, um, any one going? or have you gone in the past? what are some good hotels, good motels that arnt on the map but a few miles away...

yeah, i've been. my wife and i took a trip up there in '04 and it was pretty fun. we stayed at a place downtown called hotel 88 or something like that. trust me, take the el everywhere. it's much cheaper than taking cabs and much easier than driving. the hotel that they hold it at is just a short walk from its train stop. it's pretty easy to find.

I took a road trip to WW Philly last year, and we just stayed in some crappy roadside hotel for 2 nights.
Or you can sleep in your car, if you want to be cool.

yeah, i've been. it was fun...you'll have fun. though, if i were you, if you have the money, i'd opt for the san diego con at the end of july....thats THE con to be at!

bring an air freshener. You might wear deodorant, but many people apparently never heard of it. And in Chicago, it can double as mace.
