Hate to admit it, but the Prince songs rocked!

Purple Rain is one of the best albums of all time...

...and Sign O' The Times is even better.



My favorite tracks on this soundtrack were The Future, Scandalous and Electric Chair but I honestly pretty much like the whole thing. It's not one of Prince's best but still greatly superior to a whole lot of soundtrack albums and yes I liked the use of the tracks in the film.

Yeah like another poster said they fit Tim Burton's interpretation of the Joker for the film, it just wouldn't fit right for obvious reasons to Chris Nolan's Joker.

I do like Prince, though I'm not a mega-fan. I like his Purple Rain era the best. I even agree Madonna is a marketing genius, even if I don't like almost all of her music.

I'm a huge Prince fan, I love most of the Batman songs. Som eof the outtakes are great to ; ).

My fav. album would be Controversy, that **** is just pure funk!

Certain songs do add a certain atmosphere to the film, case in point the opening beats of 'Trust' during Joker's night parade. Or 'The Future' after the main titles.
