Have you ever use a Ouija board? how does it work exactly?

my sister was with her friends and one of them brought a Ouija Board( No not Luigi it's said We.G.) and they said like this "spirits" somehow talk to them.....my sis doesn't believe it but her loser friends do. For those who have a Ouija Board tell me how does it work and how does it speak to you?

I heard it was cardboard??

That's what I heard and one time it said that on the board that he's watching.......which means you know who. The spirit said he doesn't like talking about him....
