If you die before saying her name Ser, I swear I'll chase you through all Seven Hells.

How do you not remember this? :wow:

[blackout]The Viper vs. The Mountain[/blackout]

I remember the duel, but Ive almost completely forgotten the finer details of the books. Ive begun rereading the series to fix this problem.:)

God, that line or something like it has to be in that scene!:wow:

Just about every single thing Oberyn says during that duel is a defining moment of awesome.

I suspect by season's end that he'll be one of the most memorable tv characters ever.

I certainly hope he gets to shine this season. Him and the Sand Snakes/Dorne storylines are some of my favorite bits of the books. Something about that plotline attracts me to it. I think its the passion Oberyn feels towards the death of his sister, the brutality of her death, and the fallout of that duel. Its so goddamn tense.

And I agree Oberyn is like the Ned Stark of this season, but he is a much smarter man who isnt as hung up on his own honor. Its the honor of another that he is concerned with.

That's exactly it, he was so impassioned by it all. It kind of shakes the reader (and hopefully the audience) out of any apathy built up towards these kind of brutal acts of wanton cruelty.

Oberyn actively said "No, **** that. I'm not taking this, you're gonna die in agony for what you've done." and after the RW that's something that people can get around.

Yes i have, So I think it might be referencing this part of her story.

Non book readers dont open!

I think the poster that suggested that title is referencing Cat's return as Lady Stoneheart. Hence A Cat (Catelyn) of a Different Coat (Lady Stoneheart).

This season really is gonna be a "A Cat of a Different Color." :) Karma is dealt out and the good guys stop taking the **** they've been dealt.

I suppose that makes sense but I could also see it referring to Cat of The Cannals and ending with us seeing Arya across the sea. It would work nicely with the epilogue if you ask me.

And for the most part it's not the typical Return of the Jedi stuff either. Most the Justice comes from very unexpected places.

And the Justice is found in very unexpected places...like in the toilet.:hehe:
