Does '2 Swords' mean Renly Baratheon's and Loras Tyrell's backstory?

I really hate how they made Loras into a gay stereotype. In the book, Renly was the love of his life. But in the show, Littlefinger's spy flirts with him and it immediately cuts to the two of them going at it in bed.

I think it's in reference to

Tywin having Ice reforged into two swords

DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS! BY ANY MEANS NECESASARY!!!

The first episode "2 Swords" clearly refers to the re-forging of ICE (Damn you Tywin:cmad:)
the second, "The Lion and the Rose" is clearly the purple wedding
the third "Breaker of Chains" may possibly refer to Daenerys, and also, keeping in touch with HBO naming titles in reference of more than one moment, Sansa finally breaking free from the Lannisters
and the final one, "Oathkeeper" clearly means Brienne getting from Jaime the valyrian sword and her mission to get Sansa. also according to the rumours about scenes from Craster's Keep taking place in this episode could mean Jon tracking the "Oathbreakers" and killing them for not being oathkeepers. again with HBO's "lets put titles referencing various things" signature.

this is all pure speculation of mine though. however i think i'm 80% right:cwink:

Well, he was probably just having grief sex. I think.

The title could also tie into the fact that [BLACKOUT]Tyrion will be in chains following the Purple Wedding.

And the introdcution of the Red Viper.

Breaker of Chains is a Dany episode. [blackout]It's one of 20 titles she gives herself.[/blackout]

Renly's change bothered me more. Renly was supposed to be the spitting image of a young Robert. Tall, strong, charismatic, somebody you'd love to party with. They changed him into a much weaker character in the show, a bit more deebish really, and that bothered me a lot. It was like they didn't think they could show a strong masculine man that was also gay.

I figured that was when you would hate him.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: this always kills me.

I've just finished reading the second Dunk & Egg series "The Sworn Sword", and it occured to me that it would be cool if HBO could make a tv-movie of dunk and egg's adventures, and release it some time near... September? October?

I totally see Chris Hemsworth as Dunk.

Lol Diana riggs totally nails it as the queen of thornes

GRRM said a while back that he and HBO were discussing the Dunk and Egg books, but they'd probably be made after he's finished writing ASOIAF.

I really liked the Sworn Sword story, but Hedge Knight was just okay to me.

Still waiting for the She-Wolves of Winterfell, i want to learn more about the North!

Mystery Knight was pretty great, loved seeing Bloodraven.

There's that too, but you know how a lot of these titles are cleverly written to tie together multiple aspects of the story. Take "Kissed By Fire" for example. A key scene involved Jon and the red-headed ("kissed by fire") Ygritte, but another key scene involved Jaime Lannister's recollection about Aerys and the wildfire.

I watched this episode again lsst night and was trying to keep all that straight. That is an insane family cluster****.

Season 1.

Episode 10.

Spikes scene.

I hate Joffrey now.

Oh, silly goose, you do not know what true hate really is. Give it time. That spike scene is one of Joffrey's more cuddley moments.

Oh, my sweet summer child, what do you know of hatred?
Hatred is for the 9th episodes, my little lord, when the heart rate raise a hundred feet
and the sadness comes howling out of your soul. hatred is for the ending of the season, when the show hides its face for months at a time, and little spoilers
are created and hyped and proven false or right all in darkness while the anxiousness grow gaunt and
hungry, and the writing of the author doesn't move through the papers at all for years.”

yeah the ending was weak. but i am not known for my inspiration ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
