The scene is where Jaime did say he put the hit on Bran.....

what is a spoiler...its season 1 and i linked a google question.Put that in spoilers since it's a book spoiler.

They are not talking about that, they are talking about the ledge pushing and he says that they can outfox a 10 year old, Ned doesnt know about the attempt on Brans life at this point.

The Google result shows a book spoiler in the top result AND links to other spoilers.

Are you sure they weren't talking about when he pushed him off the ledge?
Wrong.
I'm still surprised he's meant to be only 13 which puts a different spin on it slightly. I thought he'd be 15-16 by now which given the actor is in his 20's makes more sense.
Normally I'd be against cheering on a child's death but I don't think I've seen Joffery as a child in any sense of the word since season 1. He's been an outright bastard for pretty much every scene he's been in.
The actor I like, the character I hate. He did it so convincingly that you just can't help feel relieved or happy for his death unlike say [BLACKOUT]Lizzy[/BLACKOUT] on the Walking Dead which was just all around tragic who wasn't as old, nor started off as a despot in the making. It just kind of came to that point where you live in a world of zombies (In a sense there are zombies in GOT too but they aren't everywhere).
Joffery seems to have been spoiled, raised and groomed towards being the literal king of all *******s. Who would want this kid running a lemonade stand let alone an entire country?

I rewatched season 1...This is after the attempt of killing Bran with the knife.
The scene is suppose to be ambiguous, but if you listen to their words it is clear they are talking about Jaime pushing Bran out the window. It is the only incident Cersei could possibly know about unless she herself had hired the assassin. That is why Cat travels herself to King's Landing. To keep the information known to as few people as possible. It wasJamie. He had a guard steal Tyrion's blade, and try to kill Bran in his sleep.

Joffrey was 17 years old at the time of the Battle of the Blackwater on the show. Tyrion brings up his age while talking to Cersei in Season 2, Episode 8, "The Prince of Winterfell". Tyrion compares Jaime at 17 to Joffrey at 17.I'm still surprised he's meant to be only 13 which puts a different spin on it slightly. The wedding was kind of like a Joffrey greatest hits, pissing off everyone in his sight bar the insufferable Tywin and Cersei. A nice way of reminding us (yeah yeah as if we needed that) how much of a cretinous little toerag he is, thus leaving us in no doubt that he deserved every moment of that gruesome end.

I don't remember that being said. The last I remember his age was much younger, but that's the problem with the book versus television adaptation: In the books you can keep a character an age for much longer. I haven't started the books yet either so I don't know what the progression is in that. His being 17 years old, he looks like it and he definitely acts like it (or how an unhinged, psychopathic 17 year old would act).Joffrey was 17 years old at the time of the Battle of the Blackwater on the show. I don't know, I thought Tywin seemed rather displeased with Joffrey's shenanigans. He didn't do anything about it, mind you, but still...
Then again, he's always at least mildly displeased by everything, so.![]()
Slightly curious, do you think I am making it up?I don't remember that being said. t:Tywin has never liked such things. If he was smiling, and I don't remember him doing so, it was for the benefit of the wedding party.I dunno...there were moments where Tywin looked almost pleased. I mean, the dude barely smiles and all that, but he looked mildly entertained during the reenactment of the War of the Five Kings. I think there may have been a slight smile from him.
Or maybe he was just squinting. Tywin's a hard man to read.
