Good things happened this episode! Prepare for disappointment from here on out.

Imo tonight's episode was the first truly boring episode of the season. Not even Locke's death was satisfying. Just meh.

No Tyrion is never acceptable. :(

There are only so many scenes you can shoot of a guy sitting in a dank jail cell. The writers seem completely committed to keeping this season ENTIRELY in the third book, even when they don't have the content to do so without writing in new segments.

Didn't see the episode yet but they couldn't have crammed all the good stuff from A Storm of Swords into this episode.

They didn't. Not sure what he meant by that. All the best stuff has yet to happen.

well... holy crap... and next episode....whoaaa

Well, it was a pretty decent episode. Not very much happened.

But it was good all the same.

What i loved was Jojen's scene.

I believe you are being ironic, right?

That was a kickass ending. Don't **** with Jon Snow. Don't **** with Ghost. Don't **** with Bran. And especially, DON'T. ****. WITH. HODOR.

Id be happy with 30 seconds oh him just singing the blues. :)

I meant the things that happened tonight were good. And bad things often follow good things in this series.

Locke, a bad guy, got killed. Bran et al escaped. Jon reunited with Ghost. Karl got Valyrian Steel through the back of the head. Ghost ate Rast's throat. And we saw our old favorite traveling duo and our new favorite traveling duo.

Cersei wasn't even a total ***** tonight. The only bad was crazy Aunt Lysa.

Yes. Granted, I (sort of) know what is going to happen, but I'm speaking more to how happy moments like this are short-lived. Look at last year. Dany pulled the ultimate con and stole an army of Unsullied mid-season which was the coolest moment of the series. A few weeks later, we got the Red Wedding.

Also, after the Hounds scene with Aria, who else wants to see him have a Mr. Roder's children-style TV show? "Life Lessons by the Hound. Episode One, Carry a big F*&*ing sword."

book spoilers ahead:
I wonder if Jojen's vision was a hint towards:

His fate in ADWD/TWOW. Will he die burned ?

thanks for the reply. And i'm with you there with 1000 bad things happening after 3 good.

Hound's brilliant talk to Aria was the highlight of the show. He's the only one who truly gets it. This was a filler episode. Tis the reason to have 12 episode seasons. Really getting tired of the Lannisters always seeing and being with each other but we can't get one darn stark reunion....one! Not enough Stannis so far and nothing of Yara Greyjoy. By this pace, dany will take five seasons to get to westeros, aria will take three more seasons to get to Bravos....and by then all the child actors will be 30.

you must not have watched much of this season.

Aunt Lysa was cray cray.

Also:

"We don't hurt little girls in Dorne."

:funny:

I missed it-
did Coldhands appear?

Nope.

If he was ever going to appear, I think it would have been this week at the latest. From here on out, I think it's just Bran getting carried to the Three-Eyed Crow. There are 5 episodes left. Next week seems like it will be focused on Meereen, King's Landing, Braavos, and the Dreadfort. We know episode 9 is entirely at the Wall. There's probably another episode that focuses heavily on Tyrion's trial. Episode 10 Bran will likely meet the Three-Eyed Crow. So that only leaves 1 or 2 episodes for Bran to get any screen time.

the whole 'Entirely at the wall' thing seems like BS. they said last season that episode 9 was entirely the Red Wedding stuff... it wasnt.

The difference between this year and that is that they've been hyping this up as a Blackwater situation. Neil Marshall directing, big budget war scenes...I can't see them cutting away from that.

i'll believe it when i see it considering they are butt ****ing Dany and will push Tyrion on us too

I don't remember them ever saying that for the Red Wedding. I remember them saying that for the Battle of Blackwater and that of course was true.

they said it was entirely Robb and the Twins.
