HBO's Game of Thrones - Part 15

It was Rhaegar with Aegon, we see him sitting with Elia and even playing a harp.

Are you sure? Rhaegar was young, Aerys wasn't, and the line "Let him be king over charred bones and cooked meat" is definitely his. I think at that point Rhaegar might have already been killed by Robert, which would explain why he's holding baby Aegon.

I'm 660 pages into ACoK and NONE of that stuff has even happened yet lol. I'm not even sure if Dany's dragons are missing yet

We're pretty much at the same point :woot:

They're two seperate visions you're describing. The first is Aerys just before Jaime became the Kingslayer, the second is earlier when Aegon was born and Rhaegar was meeting his son for the first time. Aerys never played a harp, he didn't like or really value Elia or Aegon's lives beyond using them as hostages to ensure Dornish loyalty. He didn't know anything about the prophecies or the Prince who was Promised or Ice and Fire.

Likewise the physical descriptions dont match. Aerys had a long beard and claw -like fingernails, whereas Rhaegar was described as looking handsome with "sad eyes".

It's for the next Hunger Games, I believe.

I think the hairstyle is for Hunger Games movie.

That pizza's totally made from the old wise masters.

About 100 pages away from finishing ACoK. Soo....

Renly and Loras weren't gay in the books either?

They were gay it was just subtler than the show. In later books it becomes somewhat more overt.

Plus in ACoK you have the Renly/Stannis conversation:

Renly: "You'll be happy to know that she came to my bed a maiden."

Stannis: "In your bed she's likely to die as one."

Burn!

Stannis Baratheon is pure comedy gold. So much great dialogue coming from him in Season 5.

I was immensely disappointed that this was cut.

Another good one (spoiler-y):

When Stannis learns that Gilly is Craster's daughter and the father of her son:

"I will not suffer such abominations here. This is not King's Landing."

On of my favorites from Stannis. From A Dance with Dragons.
"Half of my army is made of nonbelievers. There will be no burnings. Pray harder."

It's on tonight ladies and gentleman. I have a feeling this will be a good one

Ah I see, thanks  about 30 pages away from finishing ACoK and went and bought both parts of A Storm of Swords today. I'm catching up! :awesome:

Dillane would have killed it with those lol

One of my favourites is:

“You haggle like a crone with a codfish, Lord Snow. Did Ned Stark father you on some fishwife?

I laughed for a good five minutes there :funny:

They were. You just have to read between the lines about how everyone talks of them.
