Silence your mouth! :o

That's why there are spoiler tags :oldrazz:

As a courtesy you should preface your spoilers with a warning. Let people know whether it is major spoilers for upcoming episodes or major book spoilers so the non readers will know not to open the spoilers.

Well, all you Unsullied out there stay the **** away from this link because it vaguely describes characters from future novels:

HOTAH!

Ya know, that list got me thinking...

Could they be replacing Arianne with this adult Trystane? Granted, there's no guarantee that the list there is complete (or accurate), but she's a notable omission, and it'd explain why they're bothering to age up Trystane, who is a total non-factor in the books.

That list is just open casting calls, and only a partial one at that. They may have certain actors in mind for certain roles that may not be open.
Arianne and the Greyjoys brothers, Griff and Young Griff, likely all have specific actors in talks.

Spoiler tags don't differentiate what kind of spoiler it is, many people that haven't read the books watch this show and visit this thread it would be a shame if the thought a book name was an episode title clicked on your link and were spoiled accidentally. Just Sayin'

Others do it so I shall too, but I don't really see the point. There's hundreds of spoiler tagged posts in this thread with book spoilers, and when my post already says that I just finished the book which is the source material for the current season, and then the rest is spoiler tagged, it's common sense not to click on it. If you do and end up getting spoiled then it's really your own fault.

*ahem* book spoilers, kinda...

Do you guys think we'll see Kevan Lannister in Season 5? He should have been in the show already but I'm not sure whether they've just cut him out. D&D could explain his absence by saying he was busy being castellan of Casterly Rock whilst Tywin was in King's Landing.

No, I mean two threads for the show - one for the book readers, the others for non-book readers. Like on RPG.Net. That way, those who don't want to wade through spoiler posts, and people vaguely alluding to things to come that give away more than they think can have a safe haven.

Anyone else think last nights episode was kind of weird? I had no idea AIDS was such a factor in Westeros :o

I really like the Oberyn character but for those of you who previously read the books, is how he's portrayed on the show how you expected him to be played as?

He's true to the book's character, but the showrunners have given him more screentime than in the books. I'm glad, as I really like the Dornish.

Yeah I was surprised at how little Oberyn was in it. We get the scene of him coming to King's Landing then he's talked about a bit and then all of a sudden he's Tyrion's champion. I preferred the show's version of him. My favourite part of him in the books was probably his short exchange at Tyrion's trial..

Tywin: Did you poison Joffrey?
Tyrion: No.
Oberyn: Well, that's a relief.

Gotta love the Dornish :funny:

The new actor for the mountain looks similar to the guy who played Robert Boratheon to me.

Well, he could play Robert in a precuel lol.

Consider that Robert was really taller than Mark Addy. In fact, he was second only to the Mountain.

IMO though, Mark Addy's Robert was excelent. He nailed the character.

He's already in the show, portrayed by Ian Gelder in seasons 1 and 2, no doubt he'll be back next season.

Why would he be back next season specifically? I don't understand. Is it spoilery? If so, forget it.

EDIT: Never mind, I thought you were talking about Mark Addy lol. I realised that you replied to a spoiler-tagged post.

Yeah a friend pointed that out to me yesterday, had no idea he was in it. Can't wait to see him back because from what I've read of him in AFCC he's awesome :woot:

Do the first few show Arya and the Hound in the Eyrie?

Also.. (book/show/whatever spoilers)

We'll definitely see Jorah's exile next week. It's obvious from those stills, plus in the Episode #7 recap ("Previously on..." which will be shown next week) it has scenes from Season 1 talking about how Jorah is spying on Dany for Varys.
