I think I need to watch that ending again, because I can't fully grasp what the hell just happened. But christ almighty, I do NOT wanna hear those screams again. :waa:

That might've been the most graphic death in TV history.
Just making sure we get our money's worth. :p

I was not looking forward to this episode for that ending. It was worse than I thought it was going to be. I didn't want to look. I really wish they kept the part where Tyrion vomited. Because that was my reaction.

For the readers tho itd be nice to have a thread for the show where we can post spoilers and bring the books into the discussion. There is stuff on the show that readers pick up on and can speculate about and discuss, but we cant do it here so it stifles potential discussions. There's no reason for the readers to have to separate the discussion. Thats why we need a non-readers thread and a readers thread. Thats how we do it on this other site I frequent and it works out great.

This is one of the reasons why I don't post in any GOT threads(various sites) or read anything about GOT online hardly ever because the book readers always spoil the show.(just like someone did about 5 posts up here.)

The first 40 minutes was boring. Imo. Sorry but besides this fight, nothing of excitement has happened since episode 2. That's five episodes ago. Maybe they have no budget. Just saying that if there are only ten episode seasons, make every episode count. The season finale of Davinci's Demons blew this show's entire season out of the water so far. Again , imo.

Plot development!!!!! :whatever:

Yep seems he doesn't grab the concept of there also being a STORY that's being told. Plot and character development. I guess he wants a Michael Bay GOT.

Action? I watch better plotted shows with barely any action like Davinci and Fargo. I just like things to happen...this was more or less a filler episode until the final five minutes. As for spoiling anything, what did I spoil? Both combatants laid on the ground dead by my observation. It just took the Mountain longer to die.

My reaction to the smashed head:

[YT]sVvRwtzHcWI[/YT]

Not gonna lie, that actually made me a little nauseous. And here I thought I was desensitized to everything they could throw at us. Well played, GOT.

That's what made it so unbearable for me. After a season of him being so likeable and confident to hear him scream like that was gut wrenching and sickening. God I ****ING HATE THE MOUNTAIN!!!

You serious? The fight was the most boring part, especially if you read it in the book. The Mountain didn't fight with any ferocity. The two-second Mountain vs Hound fight in Season 1 was better.

I understand Oberyn wanted The Mountain to confess to his crimes but I was on the edge of my seat saying to my wife that he's being too cocky and it's going to bite him in the ass. Well, it wasn't his ass that got bit... :(

I never said anything about you spoiling anything so dunno who you're talking to there. :whatever:

Blame Martin, lol. It isn't wise to get attached to any character on this show. :p

Bring on Robert Strong

I just read the Wiki on him.
If they want him to be like he is in the book, they need to find an actor bigger than the guy who played The Mountain. Damn this guy sounds like a beast.

You sound like you are ALL about action only.

I mean, Daenerys letting X go is a pretty MAJOR development. So is Sansa's speech for Littlefinger. So is the Theon Greyjoy with what happened to that men call Theon a woman, Arya's adventure state.

HUGE HUGE HUGE plots advancement going on!!! If you are there thinking that's ALL boring, maybe Games of Thrones ISN'T the show for you!?

This was a big night for Ramsay, Reek, Sansa, Jorah and Dany in terms of their character development. Plotwise, this episode was integral to the future of the north and the wildlings. Other stuff as well, though I would be going into book spoilers.

That poster who spoiled that was being a dick and is a perfect example of why not having a reader's thread for the show doesn't do a dang thing to protect y'all from spoilers. Someone wanting to be a dick might spoil you wherever you are. At least with separate threads we could direct the responsible and considerate members to a thread that will serve them best. We need a reader's thread for the show and a non reader's thread for the show. The titles of both threads would tell you which is which. This is the only forum that I know of that doesn't do this and it causes completely avoidable spoiler issues for non reader's. No one would force anyone to go into the reader's thread. So having one isn't going to hurt anyone. It will however help foster discussions and keep spoilers and book discussion away from the non reader's who don't want to be spoiled.

I've enjoyed this season as much as the others. Even when they change things from the books or make up stuff out of blue it is still one of the best shows out there on tv. :D

The best part of the episode was the Sansa/Littlefinger drama. and Arya's laugh.

Just a note, but I thought I heard the Mountain's actor was contracted for a total of three episodes. So we should be seeing the after effects of this fight next week as well.

I don't know that those scenes were better than the big fight, but they did amuse. :)

Damn. It's one thing to read about a guy's brutal death, but seeing it....

And it was so much worse because they made the Viper even cooler in the show. That was rough. I will say, I kind of understand some people's complaints about the fight. Overall, it was a solid fight, but it didn't quite display the Mountain's ferocity in the way I'd like. I think part of that though is that it's just hard to actually get a man the size of the Mountain in real life to move as quickly as they describe him in the books. It was still pretty decent choreography though.

As for some of the people complaining about reading book spoilers...I've only ever seen people post spoiler tags from book stuff in here. And if you read those, that's your own fault.

It was indeed. I'm so heated right now. I heard rumors from some of you that he most likely wasn't going to live but I'm still a bit pissed. I truly hope The Mountain dies a horrible death at some point in the series.

So much I want to say...

I don't read the books. I can't believe that happened. Me and my sister were like 'NOOOOOOOOO'

Well I was surprised too and I've read it. It's been a while but I think he just got killed by a punch in the face.
