All hail Darth Alayne Stone, the former Northern lady Sansa Stark, and her all-new wardrobe, complete with evil-hotness designs!

Was I the only one who burst out laughing when Tyrion brought up their old maester during the beetle story and Jaime said, "He tried to touch me once"?
No, I giggled a bit. :p

I did too. And at Tyrion's apparent lack of surprise.

Great episode. The fight was great and the death was intense. But the rest of the episode was great as well. Loved the Sansa scenes, the Jorah scene was almost heart wrenching, the Arya scene was hysterical, and the Ramsay scenes were quite fun as well. The only scene that was bad was the scene with Grey Worm and the translator (whatever her name is).

I just read the Wiki on him.
If they want him to be like he is in the book, they need to find an actor bigger than the guy who played The Mountain. Damn this guy sounds like a beast.

Nah, a man the same size should do. :cwink:

Unnecessary as they were, I thought the Grey Worm/Translator scenes were really sweet.

It looked like Pedro took up some Wushu training to prepare for his role.

Do you guys think they've wrapped up Sansa's and Theon's storylines for this season? There almost seemed to be a little bit of closure in especially Sansa's arc. I'm not sure how likely it is that they'll show up in the finale.

The Red Wedding looks like freakin' Care Bears and cotton candy compared to what happened on tonight's episode.

Holy s***.

My guess would be yes unless they choose to reach beyond book 3 for more.

I'd assume they are coming back. We have two episodes left after all. But I can't remember where their story-lines terminate in the books. So I could easily be wrong.

It certainly did look like he might have. When he was twirling that lance at the start of the fight my jaw hit the floor. That was some Jet Lee **** right there.

Episode 9 is set entirely at the Wall just like how season 2 episode 9 was set entirely at KL. So Sansa and Theon can't show up in episode 9.

Great episode, so sad to have Oberyn die, he was so fun and refreshing to watch. If only he wasnt so hellbent on getting a confession.

I expect season 5 to be very Sansa lite.

I haven't seen it mentioned, but the way Tywin announced that Tyrion would be executed was infuriating. It's clear he really couldn't wait to announce that his son would be executed and that he was happy to see it happen. He can deny it to Jaime until he is blue into he face, but he never had any intention to allow him to take The Black.

Really? Awesome! I didn't realize they would do that again.

Yep, and the guy that directed the Blackwater episode in season 2 is directing the Battle of The Wall too!:awesome:

Brutal and depressing.

He had the fight won. :(

I really can't believe they didn't have Tyrion yell "Finish him, Oberyn!" I would have been cussing him for all he was worth the minute he started running around demanding a confession instead of finishing the Mountain.

Ironically enough, I honestly have a headache right now. I guess the adrenaline and my blood pressure spiking brought it on.

Since I haven't read the books, his death shocked me so much. It left me completely dumbfounded.

Oberyn's death is what everyone wanted for Joffrey. :o

Hahaha, I can understand why people wanted this brutal thing to happen to Joffrey, but I'm pleased with what happened to him. He was robbed of an honorable death (not on a battlefield), and was reduced to being a pathetic little child crying for his mommy. The brat got what he deserved, in my opinion. :)

Tyrion seemed just as bewildered as we were. There was so much anger and emotion when Oberyn was yelling, "Who gave you that order!?" while looking at Tywin. In that brief moment I knew Oberyn was making a mistake by not finishing the Mountain off quickly, but at the same time I sensed how important the confession and his revenge were to him.

I'm still shaken up.
