I was SO looking forward to seeing this figure too, how can they even let crap like this get through the boards at mattell, they should've had a re-sculpt for the face of this figure it looks nothing like Heath at all.

I want to see this figure in person to judge 100%

well we mmight see it this weekend at toyfair. possibly..

and about spiderman 3 (someone mentioned it earlier), well, thats what superhype does. i know alot of ppl are going to be really upset with Indy 4 because the the hype for that film will never allow them to really enjoy it. when i went into spiderman 3, i went in only likeing the first one, hateing the 2nd, so i was prepared to not like it. but........i actually wound up likeing it! ah, the wonders of anti-hype.

and as for the joker figure looking bad, thats rubbish. its what i expected. nicley detailed but not like pitch perfect translation from the movie. thats how it always is with movie figures. sometimes they get close, but they never get TOO close. so yeah, this is what i expected.

I dont think its rubbish, I think its a bad figure. I will wait to see it in person to make my opinion 100%, but I really did expect alot better.

This poll should have had a third option for "It's alright."

I agree.

The clothes are great, but the hair is

And :lmao: that unmasked Bruce Wayne looks nothing like Christian Bale,

You haven't seen alot of movie figures by Mcfarlane or NECA then.

yeah i have, and they are much better sculpt wise. i have some of mcfarlanes matrix figures, and while they look great, they are just startues. i would take less detail, more articulation any day.

The wavy hair is kinda Oscar Wilde. It does remind me of Oscar's, he had nice, thick hair. *laugh*

"Life is too important to be taken seriously! *flips hair*" :woot:

Not bad, but I think they can do better.

To move around with...
Ask a stupid question and you'll get an equivalent reply.

The Joker's neck, arms and hands has always been white up till now. There's no reason to change that, as it doesn't intrude the realism factor. It all depends on the causes.

Thank you! *bows*

The Joker figure also has "grandpa pants", yes. The waist is so high and more than a little old-fashioned, hehe. Or the crotch is rather long? It's an interesting design, nonetheless. It amuses me.

The goon at least has a belt which shortens the crotch area. I like the sculpt of his mask though. Not too shabby.

one thing is certain, these figures will kick the crap out of those spiderman 3 "ML" type figures by hasbro. so dissapointing, especially sandman.

also, im confused as to which version of this batman it is:

^ this batman figure looks like the movie masters one, the 6 inch one. but then the pic they show of what i guess is the same figure looks like this:

the detail is also better on the first batman fig pic i posted. it has the grey highlights in the "bra" area, while the pic above has no grey area, and doesnt look nearly as detailed.

then of course there is the photo on the 2nd page with the 5 inch joker on it:

im not sure if ALL these are the same figure or what. im so confused!

ya, because I dont hate it or love it...

I think it's...meh as of right now (from that picture)

Im sure I will love it or hate it in person though

Meh. I was expecting much more. Hell, it doesn't look like we've come very from from the 1989 Toy Biz days, now does it? :oldrazz:

I actually like the last one the best

I actually like the last one the best

i wonder if the last one is this one, the "ultimate" 13-15 inch batman but without the stupid blue

it was just a prototype so they probably just removed the blue and that pic is the final product, thankfully. looks 100% better.

The hair needs work, but other than that it's pretty cool.

It's a boring looking figure, and I think that captures Nolan's boring approach to the character quite well.
