Its us mean *******s that can afford to be nice, because when the deserving guy comes around, we actually have something left for them.

Because thats a very, very different situation. That is life or death. That can change someone beyond belief or **** them over. Thats permenant. This won't even last past the end of the month, and by the time school is over it'll be distant memory.

Besides, if you'd read my earlier posts you'd be able to infer that I was nice then because #1 Mee is a poster that I respect, even if I haven't talked to them enough to get to like them and #2 it wasn't 'oh noes look at me and how tragic I am'

bull****,losing a loved when can have just as much impact as being pushed around,both require the same defense,postive mind set and taking on the problem every time it comes at you.i figured youd pull that card but facts are facts,cancers common,old people getting dieses are common,would i give my shoulder to the cancer vitim before the bully victime,that depends,one may be in worse shape,but thats why i have two shoulder and would show both the sympath/empathy they needed.

Clearly, you've never lost someone close to you to cancer, or you wouldn't have such a skewed outlook. I got picked on in school. So what? Made me tougher. I didn't have any help working through it. I just did.

Meh, if I actually knew her, it'd probably be easier to be sympathetic. I see bullying go on around me all the time, but my world is very gray. It's not bully and smaller person. I have no real first hand experience with psychological beatings, but I've always been there for people who were being bullied. Always been reassuring and all that jazz, made sure they weren't in too much of a s**tty mood and whatnot. just my grandma and grandpa but i faced facts,they smoked,alot.I was prepared because i knew that smoking was bad.I have never and willl never smoke somthing,even cigars because i know what can happen.you have to be in the mind fram to learn before it can make you tougher,its not a given.

Best frame of mind to learn from a loss situation is entirely unprepared. You don't expect anything, so you take in everything. Nothing can prepare us for most day-to-day experiences, you just gotta suck it up and learn from them, and then use what you've learned.

It is high school and it seems she's outnumbered. It also seems they don't care about her, and everytime something negative was done she stepped up first to get shot down [told them to pay attention, told teacher iPods could be used in class, messaged on MySpace]. I dunno. Ignoring would be the ideal way out of this situation.

Its an alpha-female pissing contest and you either one up them so far they can't touch you, or you knuckle down, take the **** and dodge the worst hits. Its what I did, and five years time, I'll be treating patients in the hospitals they're cleaning, or editing the books they can't hope to ever read. You just gotta keep your head down and hold out, because everything ends.

mabey you didnt say the right thing.not saying a few flare ups wont happen but shell always have the upperhand and she can always toss that at them if they get out of line,this is ofcourse if that happens which i doubt,with a girl like that,a few jabs will send her down.the toughest ive ever seen went down with me telling her if she said somthing about my girl again id rape and bleach her until i could lick off her skin.she cried,tolder her daddy but i told him the same thing.it ended there.just keep the top of the hill for yourself and itll work.
