Best part of the whole movie that. And when Zimmer's MoS score swelled in the background. Just perfect. If Superman been allowed to kick Bruce's ass a little more the fight scene would've played better with me personally.

Indeed. The only silver lining that I have from that fight is that Superman never went into it with the intent of killing Batman or brutally beating him up so the fight itself really isn't an accurate portrayal of who would truly win between them. Well that and the fact that I feel like Superman won't the real fight by not giving into Lex's demands of killing Batman and redeeming him instead.

But then again its a catch 22, if Superman goes on the offensive during this kind of fight, it going to come off like he's trying to kill Batman. I think its tricky orchestrating a proper fight between the two where they are on an even playing field.

I agree. Supes big moment is really an act of self defence. Stopping Batman's boot from hitting his face, and throwing him through a wall.

I liked the fight as is, but if I were to make the fight longer I would make it so at that point where he clenches his fists after he drives him through the floor he starts beating him down until he has a solid chance to end him but chooses not to and steps back as he finds that he just can't do it, only for Bats to use that as an opportunity to cheap shot him with his K-Grenade and then the fight commences down to the bottom level like it does in the film as is for its resolution.

See, I would have liked that too, but I think people would have had a real problem with Supes landing punches on Batman (in his powered state) because of how easily he could end him.

I think,the fight was pretty much the most realistic way it could turn out. Superman did not want to kill batman so his offensive moves were pretty much throwing and grappling Batman unstead of punches.

See, I would have liked that too, but I think people would have had a real problem with Supes landing punches on Batman (in his powered state) because of how easily he could end him.

I think,the fight was pretty much the most realistic way it could turn out. Superman did not want to kill batman so his offensive moves were pretty much throwing and grappling Batman unstead of punches.

Ah, but he wouldn't be fully powered as he would still be somewhat weak from the K grenade he would just be stronger than he was before allowing him to trounce him for a little bit.

Batman and Superman fights are almost always done through Batman's pov for that very reason. Imo, they did the best they could given the match up.
