This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]514177[/split]
His reaction when Supes starts to regain his invulnerability always amuses me. "Easy now... I didn't really mean it. Can't we be frie... oh f***!"
Best part of the whole movie that. And when Zimmer's MoS score swelled in the background. Just perfect. If Superman been allowed to kick Bruce's ass a little more the fight scene would've played better with me personally.

And you, just like the bald man thought yo self special. Your parents told ya so. My parents told me a different lesson as they were running to get popeyes in the rain...Life only makes sense, if I kick a Superman fan in the balls.
Indeedy.Absolutely LOVE that moment, especially Batmans reaction. Showed in a good way Batman had no chance without Kryptonite.
I agree. Supes big moment is really an act of self defence. Stopping Batman's boot from hitting his face, and throwing him through a wall. But then again its a catch 22, if Superman goes on the offensive during this kind of fight, it going to come off like he's trying to kill Batman. I think its tricky orchestrating a proper fight between the two where they are on an even playing field.

First we have a DC Designer Series: Superman and Lois Lane statue by Gary Frank. Based on Frank's variant cover to "Superman: Secret Origins" #3, the statue features one of the most beloved couples in comics embracing as they hover over the Daily Planet. The piece stands 16.5 inches tall and will cost $250.
I also feel like the fight needes more of Superman wooping Batman's ass. It felt too one sided.

See, I would have liked that too, but I think people would have had a real problem with Supes landing punches on Batman (in his powered state) because of how easily he could end him.
I think, the fight was pretty much the most realistic way it could turn out. Superman did not want to kill batman so his offensive moves were pretty much throwing and grappling Batman unstead of punches.
Batman and Superman fights are almost always done through Batman's pov for that very reason. Imo, they did the best they could given the match up.I also feel like the fight needes more of Superman wooping Batman's ass. It felt too one sided.
