I hope there's some actual news soon so the convesation can move away from who makes how much money, and who is friends with who.
I struggle to be interested by these kinds of rumours.

Same.

So he's mentioned this bit before, but it's been a while and now we have it on video (2m 4s):

Frosty: What would people be surprised to learn about you?

Cavill: I actually, genuinely, go to all the superhero websites and read all the forums.

Not to toot our own horn, but we're definitely the premiere go-to discussion board for superhero film, right guys? We gotta be up there, if not at the top.

So with that said...

HIIII HENRY! DON'T BE A DIVA DURING NEGOTIATIONS SO WE CAN SEE YOU AGAIN! :sly:

I actually think Henry Cavill, appearance wise, is the perfect choice for Superman. His face is what I often imagine when thinking about Sup. BUt the problem is he doesn't have 1% charisma as Christopher Reeves, or Harrison Ford,... He just seems wooden with his acting and facial expression.

oh...**** :funny:

His hair and hairline is looking great now as he's doing the MI6 press tour.

It's not that hard. Don't use gels so it doesn't lose all it's volume, and don't aggressively comb back it back or to the side which accentuates the high hairline. That's it. Wash it, towel dry and comb. Either he figured that out or he fired his stylist.

Well we can all thank BN at the end of the day.

InB4 he shows up and says some random nonsense in ebonics about strippers and/or porn stars. Or spends an unusual amount of time and effort writing up and posting faux script pages. Or refers to us as bald. Or a combination of those three things.

Henry reads the forums? Coolness.

As a fan, you got my total support as Superman bro. It would be a shame not to have you in the role for years to come. You were born to play classic Superman and fingers crossed you get that chance and beyond.

Now sign would ya?

Haha just about what I was going to say.

Henry you are Superman! Please sign the contract, we need you, the World needs Clark!

Maybe we should start our #MVP thing for a day or a week again drum up some support online :hmm:

Takes me about 5minutes max. And you, just like Henry's hairline...you don't make the cut. :o

I don't mind (too much) when they move away from the spit curl look with the hair, but FFS they cast a man with perfect NATURAL Superman hair, and they slick it back.

Like, I get in MOS, given the story and approach, it would have made zero sense for him to be putting an effort into distinguishing his appearance as Superman from that of CK.
But his hair does the look SO naturally that it didn't matter! It would have been perfectly acceptable for them to have just styled his hair naturally with a loose bit falling in front every now and then.

Then, at the VERY END when he shows up to the Daily Planet, it would have made perfect sense for him to suddenly have more formally styled hair (it's his first day at the new job.) Introduces a classic Superman/CK trope in a perfectly natural and "grounded" way.

New image has been revealed from Shazam of Freddy and Billy.

Notice in the background lots of Superman/Batman merch. Including a Time Magazine that is from when the Black Zero showed up in MOS and a newspaper article on the wall saying Superman is back.

If you zoom in further on that article, you will notice on how the full tagline reads...

"Superman is back! But will Cavill return as well?:

:o:csad:

This is well and truly rooted in the DCEU then, I think the Cavill cameo is guaranteed at this point (unless WB cut it).

I imagine people looking for a "happy and optimistic" Superman will be pleased with his role, given the light, comedic tone of the film.

Cavill appearing in a post credit scene is still possible, especially if his new deal comes through as we all hope, but he ain't in the movie brehs.

It would be cool to have a post credits scene with Clark Kent looking into some destroyed ruins in Egypt or something.

If Cavill is on this board - we love you!! we have your back.... be my best friend! Pleasseeeeee

Ok, so now i am reading every post in the style of Henry, not hard to do.... being a brit myself, but damn there are a lot of posters that write how i imagine Cavill would sound.

And.... just to explode the internet, this internet... on instagram, lets see you log in to one of the forums or at least say a posters name so we can track it down.. ok obsession getting to me.

I have one issue with those props.... i know they are toys and merch from DC, so it's like a fourth wall thing going on. We got MOS S and then DC classic S.... what company would do that? Second... why is there a toy of Batman.. in that specific suit... how do they know? Who even knows...

Wait..... what if Shazam is set in our universe and DC is a thing and that the heroes exist but on film only??

Also, on the paper issue saying superman is back, would be funny if there was a small editorial piece "clark kent back too"
