I think that Hemsworth has time to grow as an actor so I won't write him off yet but right now I don't understand how he is scoring and being talked about for all of these roles?

He's got a good agent. On top of the fact that he has a nice fanbase from HG, and is a young, tall handsome actor.

He's young, and he was mentioned on the BvS thread for some role, and people pointed out that he has villain's face... I saw his pic the other day but I can't remember the name.

In addition to Alexander Skarsgard and Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Sneider says he heard that Armie Hammer and Trevor Donovan were also tested for the male lead with Hammer and Skarsgard being the top two. Jeff also said to take this all with a grain of salt.

I'd go with Hammer, then again I kinda want him to play a Superhero. I'd be okay with AS as well.

Business wise I think it's smart to go after a sex symbol type of actor for the role if possible. It's nice to have someone women want to bang. Not to say that women would be the only audience on the film's side but it never hurts to sure up the female demo as much as possible.

Eh Jennifer Lawrence got paid half a mil to actually star in The Hunger Games and she had an Oscar nomination. Gadot isn't even the female lead of BvS and she's little known, despite being in a couple of Fast and Furious movies. 300k is more than fair for an actress in her position. I'd be baffled if Amy Adams only got paid 300k but not Gadot.

The studios always pay more if the first film is a hit and she has a super rich husband, she will be okay.
