When I was in the sixth grade, I got punched by a kid sitting next to me in class. It wasn't a bullying type of thing, but more of me doing something that annoyed him. MY lip got cut by my tooth and was bleeding a little so my teacher sent me to the nurse's off and they gave me a note to get signed by my mom.
MY mom was very over protective (she pressed charges on a couple of middle school kids that jumped me around that time, and who just so happened to go to the school she was working at) and she knew everyone in my school, so I hid the note from her and forged her signature. I told my teacher the next day that she spoke to me and said part of it was my fault and then I gave the nurse the note like nothing was wrong.
I didn't tell her this until a couple of years back. Naturally, she was a little upset, not at all understanding, but I wouldn't have expected different from someone like her. I don't regret hiding it because I knew she would make things worse, and I only told her because I figured there's no point in hiding it anymore, plus I thought it was funny now looking back.
