Pat.. your disbelief suspenders are slipping. ;)
It's the same theory on how there could even BE a Jor-El, or an FOS.. or any of the other fantastic stuff associated. I mean, he brought Clark back from the DEAD.. having clothes materialize, or whatever, doesn't seem such a stretch. Also, I think that all that happened from the time Clark "died" and came back was probably in a suspended time. More Kryptonian "magic". :)

It's something new that Jor-El taught him for when he actually becomes Superman. Presto Chango! Ala Peanut Butter Sandwiches!

Go f' yourself DrVenkman90

I thought the episode was great and geeked out when I saw the gravity effect, but it was clearly a jump.

I assumed that was just him trying to hold onto the rocket. Plus, he's new at the flying thing. He probably isn't as fast as a missile yet.
That's true, he hasn't ever done it before. He is probably thinking it was a superjump like you newbies. We all know he did start out faster than a speeding bullet (if you know what I mean). I love it, I just love it.:supes:

I think it's early Phone Booth training. ;)

(and I caught that Sesame Street reference, btw. LOL)

Nah, can't happen yet, no cape. No. 1 alien superhero rule: can't fly without cape.

Nope. Next episode. Hang in thar.

He took off the same way he did in Crusade - the ground deflected and circular waves emanated outwards from Clark's feet. I'd say it was a massive jump - MUCH bigger than the one in Lucy or Insurgence - and it was initiated the way he would if he was taking off for flight. Did he actually fly? Mmm... I'd say no. But judging from that jump, it's not gonna be long. I'd put money on seeing him FLY again, THIS season.

Thanks for the big help, and it sounds awesome.

I fly and I don't have a cape. ANSWER THAT!

I just watched the scene again, if he flew then why did he begin to slip down the side of the rocket once he got there

Great episode  just needed my Spike :D

Looked like super jump to me, though in the begining of the episode all i was thinking is, Is Clark gona catch the f**king missle? :D

Oh, my disbelief suspenders are on all the time, trust me. It's my radar for continuity gaffs that bug me. I'm thinking there *may* have been a scene cut (probably for time) that would have explained the wardrobe switch. As it was, there was no REASON to have a change of clothes. That's my peeve.

I think Triplet noticed something similar in Ageless and was perturbed by it. Fortunately, Hidden was a phenomenal episode, unlike Ageless, so it's easy to forgive the editing gaff, if that's what it was.

Because, he is new at flying. Are you dense. Are you retarted or something. I am the god damn Venkman!

Tell that to Edna 'E' Mode. "No capes!" LOL :p

LOL It's so sad, I'm a 30 year old man wearing a Superman shirt (which ironically enough always happens to be "clean" on Thursday nights) and I'm jumping and screaming like an idiot. :o :supes:

Still my favorite scene in that incredible (pun intended) movie.

As for his flying/not flying...I would say that he did fly. But only to an extent. He didnt do it because he knows how. He did it out of sheer will. He may have wanted to just jump but he flew. I think he just doesnt realize it. I agree with pat that we will most likely see him fly this season. Or learn to at least. Maybe the season ender will be the clincher. My guess is after the film comes out most if not all the rules might be out the window. ( not like most of them arent already broken or at least bent to hell.)

Fair enough.. It's funny how we all notice different things. None of the FOS stuff stuck out to me. What did confuse me a bit was the end scene with Lana showing Lex Clark's medical records. This was right on the heels of her seeing Clark alive again and in tattered clothes.. That's a BIG gap of information to skip!
