Hidden - Discussion Thread(Spoilers)

I really enjoyed 'Hidden' and the season as a whole so far. i had got a little worried about the show just getting silly with Brainiac and Aquaman showing up (just seemed like too much of a stretch), but I've been pleasantly suprised with how things are progressing. Clark is really beginning to accept his destiny. It'll be interesting to see how it blows up with Lana.

Well that was an intense episode....I will admit I teared up during the hospital scene. When Clark went after the rocket...Ok hold on to your hats......That was SUPERMAN! I was very impressed with this episode!

You don't need the spoiler tags, Venom... This is a spoilery thread and you should be proud to say that Tom Welling looked like Superman!

Good onya, buddy...

He did. He really, really did.

 :D

Well he didn't fly.... but other then that it was great. Easily the best episode of the series.

P.S.- They really need to kill Lana.

Smallville might actually do something I’ve never seen before. Get better as a television show as people got OUT of their teen years.

Normally: leaving high school = show gets exponentially worse till it gets cancelled.

Well when you are at the bottom you can only go up. :)

So who is going to bite it?

The easy way out of that would be to say that Pete was killed in a car crash and that would be the "sacrifice" of someone Clark loved. ;) :D

The way he gets up on the Rockets top reminds me of another dude. You know hes big & green & only says like 2 words

The Pete angle is too easy to play. Jor-El said someone that Clark loved. Kinda seems like either Jonathan or Chloe. My money's on blondie biting the big one.

ok here it is... scene set up... clark awakens in fos and notices lionel posessed by jor-el

jor-el - "Hello kal-el"
clark - "How do you know to call me that"
jor-el - "You're my son"
clark - "Jor-el"
jor-el - "And i hope the time is coming when you will call me father"
clark - "I was.... I was just at the hospital. How did..... How did you get me here"
jor-el - "The portal in the cave"
jor-el - "When this body was activated by the crystal it became an oracle of kryptonian knowledge.... a vessel for me to inhabit if ever you should need me.. that time was now"
clark - "Am i dead"
jor-el - "Your mortal journal is over..yes,but your eminent destiny is too important to be sacrificed... you will return with all of your natural gifts... unfortunately this rectification does not come with out a price.. the life of someone close to you will be exchanged for yours."
clark - "No i would never ask for that"
jor-el - "You already did when you decided to relinquish your powers and disobey me...It was your choice"
clark - "Then just dont bring me back"
jor-el - "It's too late...for everything in nature there is a balance.... the life force that has been returned to you will soon be taken..from someone you love....you're about to face your darkest hour my son.. but remember the lessons we learn from pain are the ones that make us the strongest.. always know that i love you."

end scene with a hug
think thats bout it rewinded few times to get it all may have missed sum but dont think so

Bottom of what exactly? Smallville definately isn't at the bottom of anything ratings wise -- never has been.

It certainly was in quality. For to long it was just another teen drama with loosely tied stories, terrible plot ideas, and boring monsters of the week. It took graduation and fear of being cancelled for them to finally start writing a show about Superman.

Nope... never has been the bottom of anything.

Even you have to admit the witch storyline was atrocious

I am glad to see that this season seems more about Superman than witches or shape-shifting hotties. This season's done really well ratings-wise so far.

Season 4 wasn't all about "witches and magic", we had Isabelle yeah, but she wasn't in every episode, and some people liked that storyline anyway.

the good stuff now, fantastic shot

Nope, I don't have to admit anything of the sort.

I'm one of the few people who thought it was brilliant.

However this year is so much better, I ain't got no complaints.

Sheesh..you'd think that we had 22 episodes of witches last season from all the disproportionate *****ing people do about it.

You know, I'm too happy about tonight's ep and where the show is now to argue about last season.

Tom continues to impress me with his acting. From his "gawrsh, Ma.." face (when she asked him if they were 'safe'), to his emotion-filled scene when he returned home, the guy is just nailing it.

There is no way that was brilliant. Not only was it terribly written (It took on a Witches of Eastwick feel without the talent), it was terribly acted. I seriously believe Lana couldn't act her way out of a paperbag.

I thought it was cool how they showed the blood pool under him spreading out from under him.

Thank you for the caps, Father Sage. :)

stop going off topic.

Oh that explains it.. You see, Lana's not an actress. She, uh.. makes coffee, and um..draws things, but definitely not an actress.
