His webslinging still looks off

IMO, the final web sequence in the first movie was the best of all three, but the web-slinging during the crane sequence does come in a close second. In the long run, it's between 2 and 3 for me.

His webslinging in SM3 was perfect, in my opinion. And the crane sequence showed his powers perfectly with realism.

Webslinging was perfect, I thought. Nothing looks too off to me, atleast in terms of obeying the laws of gravity and anatomy and physics.

Really, what and how is his web slinging supposed to look like? Comics can't show fluidity, just stills. Not to mention in movie there is air resistance. Sure he lands hard, but he's probably moving really fast too.
see modern day animations of spidey. any high quality eps of the animated series as well as the majority of the swinging from the mtv series.

Because they're all done under the same principles, by the same crew dictating the approach. Spidey really only does two types of swings. The straight "Tarzan" type swing, and letting the webline's bungee effect propel him. The variations come in direction, speed and so forth.
But in this film, the swing during parker's alley way scene then reverts back to two handed webswinging similar to scenes shown in the original cartoon opening sequence.

That method of swinging is clearly different from the other methods shown in the previous two movies although they do tend to be consistent past that.

could you go through the bungee one, i'm not sure which one that is. Is that when he's on the ground and he's at the start of his webswing, and he needs to gain aerial height?

I think the reson for that particular technique was because Peter needed speed, and to be a more random target for Harry. His long swinging arcs cover more distance, but are slower and his arc is more predictable. Harry could have more easily hit Peter with one of his pumpkin devices.

It's that and what he does mid-air.

Using the webline to shoot straight upward or across a distance.
