Train fight

It's not that Peter's dancing that bothers me about the dance scene, it's the tone shift it causes. We're meant to be afraid of the symbiote and the way it affects Peter, not laughing at it.

Afraid? Yeah. I was pretty much laughing through the whole movie. Terrible...just terrible.

What's "cheesy" about two best friends beating the living **** out of each other?

It wasn't believeable. I was never 'pulled' into the moment. It felt fake and the dialogue was cliched and cheesy. Although I agree that two friends fighting is a big deal, it wasn't really captured in an effective way and thus led to a silly fight scene. The first fight between Harry and Peter carried much more weight even though it was plagued by bad CGI.

One of my biggest problems with Harry in Spider-Man 3 is that he never really felt like enough of a threat to Peter because both times he fought Peter Parker, he got his ass kicked into the hospital. Why should we buy that Mary Jane breaks up with Peter for the sake of his safety when Peter can easily defeat Harry?

True. True. Yet another item we can add to the list, the very long list of why SM3 sucked balls.

Heck, I'd say it was one of the series' most brutal fight sequences since the climax of the original Spider-Man. People are getting stabbed, knocked into walls, et cetera. It's a shame we didn't get to see them fight a few more times.

The evolution of Peter and Harry's relationship over the course of the trilogy is fantastic, IMO.

The scene where Harry slaps Peter is still very powerful, IMO. It shows how downhill Harry has gone emotionally.

I always loved it.

To me, it killed the film's momentum. Just imagine the tension in scenes between Peter and Harry if Harry hadn't lost his memory. You could just have them with Mary Jane or other supporting cast members, hiding their utter contempt for each other.

Agreed. I love how Harry refers to Peter as "brother", reminding Peter how Norman saw him as the son he always wanted.

I felt the same. In fact,I feel that Harry is the weakest villain in the whole trilogy, threat wise.

Another part of the mansion fight in S-M3 that I love is when Harry decides to throw a pumpkin bomb at Peter and Peter throws it back. It really shows how much the symbiote has affected Peter and is making him selfish.

Most of my friends said that was their favorite part of the entire movie, despite neither character being in costume

The Peter and Harry fight scenes are the ONLY parts of the film that I like.

Unfortunately, that first fight scene with Harry on the glider was released as a clip before the film came out... So I'd already seen one of the two moments in the film I liked before I went to the cinema.

Spiderman 3 remains to be the worst cinema experience of my life.

My expectations where so high. I had completely and utterly loved Spiderman 2. And venom is my favourite villain of all time - and that's a lot coming from a Superman fan...

Watching Spiderman 3 was an emotional rollercoaster for me - and none of them positive.

I concur. I really think that should have been the moment that caused Peter to have the crisis of conscience and get rid of the symbiote.

Tbh, I actually think Peter striking MJ was perfect for him to realize that he needs to get rid of it. It was a wake up call.

But I think attacking his friend with intent to kill should have been enough for him to wake up. I mean, by the point he accidentally hits MJ, he's already murdered two people.
