I recently watched this on Amazon Prime and really enjoyed it. I can't wait for season two. I'm very interesting to find out what's going on with Ragnar and his wife and girlfriend...lol. I heard that there will be a significant time jump in the new season. Does anyone know if that is true?

I know they cast an adult to play Ragnor's son so I am guessing that is true.

Thanks! So lots of time will pass at some point....le shame. I hope we at least get one episode with the young son. I liked him. He was so bland while talking about his parents having sex...lol. Gotta love those Vikings!

You should. I was like you and wasn't sure, but everyone I knew who watched it raved about it... So I decided to check it out on Amazon Prime. You can watch season one there if you're a member. It's really good. I don't know how historical it is, but it's got some good actors and good stories.

So! Just 27 more hours! I'll be watching the premiere of Season 2. I missed Season 1 when it came on last year, but I was able to catch up on it a few months ago and then again last month so I have seen it twice.

Lagertha looks awesome, Katheryn looks better in her raiding outfit, and I hope to see more of her. Rollo's badass, but I dislike how he is at odds with Ragnar. Ragnar's cool to, but I like Rollo more. And who doesn't like Floki?

I feel like the series moves along to fast. I expect season 1 to be about Ragnar's ongoing conflict with the Jarl and his eventual battle, then end season 1. Unfortunately, that storyline was cut short by the middle of the season and we get a new storyline (with Horik and whatnot). I just feel like these could be two separate seasons.
