Anyone else playing the Sniper challenge? Wicked fun! I preordered the game from Gamestop.com, then once i got my code i canceled my reservation. Good thing about doing it that way is it costs nothing as your card isn't charged until the game ships.

I must have replayed the challenge 20 times trying to get my score higher.

Damn i can't wait for the full game.

Haha this is great. In the sniper challenge one of the mini challenges you do has you sniping this shadowy figure off a perch from the tallest building in the game and when you do, an eagle sound plays as he falls off the perch. The challenge is called "Leap of the Ninja" Put this ninja out of his misery.

The E3 trailer will debut tomorrow at 1pm BST. So for now, here's a teaser image:

I've got a feeling it's multiplayer related.

I dunno, it's almost as though I just don't trust modern developers to get an additional multiplayer mode to previously singleplayer games (though Uncharted is quite good). It's a shame since some games (like Hitman) could potentially have a great opportunity for multiplayer that compliments the main game, but I'm just too wary at this stage.

Though for all we know this could be a tease for a rival assassin group like the Franchise (which I'd probably put money on it being that instead of multiplayer).

If there were to ever have multiplayer though it would be cool to have to have modes like assassin vs target. Though I'd want to see either some strict rules about what role you are playing or gameplay features that strongly encourage you playing your role properly (like blending in, remaining hidden etc) or even provide incentives for doing so.

Also the targets shouldn't be allowed to simply bunker down with armed guards, but be given their own adjectives like completing a business deal (criminal or otherwise) or anything else related to the role their playing.

I wouldn't be against a separate co op campaign ala Splinter Cell: Conviction. Here's another image courtesy of Metro UK:

Looks really cool with those female characters, to me at least!

All I gotta say is

I shouldn't make such a big deal over a CGI trailer but that, felt more appropriate for a game like Saints Row rather than Hitman. I guess they wanted to show this to appeal for a wider audience.

I wouldn't say it's like Saints Row just yet. It does seem quite odd, but arguably looking back over the Hitman series there has been a tweaking of the visual style. I think it's more in keeping with how Blood Money was at times with missions like 'You better watch out' and 'Dance with the Devil'.

It's not the visual style. It's the laughable S&M nuns blowing up a motel and getting taken down sloppily by 47.

Didn't look that sloppy to me. He's not superman, even 47 is going to have to get into a fight. I thought you meant just the S&M nuns which to me wouldn't look that out of place in Blood Money. I agree that S&M nuns blowing up the hotel is over the top.

Choking 'em out was ok, but I rolled my eyes when it got action heavy. I hope that's just a s**tty trailer to rope in the people who need a'splosions and the actual game doesn't spit on the spirit of the series.

Err...not really feeling that latest trailer. Didn't seem very "Hitman" to me. Though, I suppose Hitman has had levels where he has to disguise himself as a giant penguin or whatever, so it's not too far fetched.

Still, it had too much of a cheeseball feel to it IMO.

Yea i really dont know what purpose that trailer served other that to confirm that 47 is no longer with the ICA. The nuns fit with the style of the world IO has created tho, any fan of the games would realize that. 47 is also capable of the CQC shown in that trailer, IOI has just always done a poor job of showing that(the disarm in BM comes to mind). Maybe this is hinting towards some of his new CQC moves which is a long over due feature for the series.

It was just kind of an odd trailer overall.

Well yeah but at least those did make sense, the former being a Christmas party while the latter is a themed Hell & Heaven parties, but the purpose of why these female assassins choose to skimpily clad as nuns, is it suppose to be their take on absolution for 47, in keeping the spirit of the title? Like I said I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this but I do hope there's a reason in the game otherwise I'm going to assume it was an attempt to attract those not familiar with the Hitman series.

The series as I know it is fairly grounded in reality and those chicks were straight out of a comic book. If he were at a church I could overlook it but nah, that was OTT. What I saw was an over-sexualized mess showcasing what they're doing with 47. The man on fire angle worked with Sam Fisher. I'm not so sure they made the right move in bringing it to this series.

Then you haven't played the game enough, or its been a long time since you have. Those images are nothing new for the series. Now them working for ICA kinda makes ya scratch your head, but no, those individuals deff were not outside of the style of Hitman. Oversexualized women have ALWAYS been present.
